If you disc drive starts blinking 2 times intermittently just insert the disc and it should verifly.

It's been updated again without any notice - it's jumped all the way to r188 now, and the XML has finally been updated as well.

Wow, 169 - 188! I'll update the attachments soon, right now I've got too much reality to deal with lol

Edit: I see that the basic loader now supports Classic Controllers, this is big news. People have been waiting for this since Devo was announced, I'm going to have to update very soon so I can play with this, then update the guide accordingly.

Currently the only difference we've found is that the sample loader can use Wiimotes and Classic Controllers for menu navigation (not in-game). However, the on-screen text still applies to the GameCube controller, and the Classic Controller has horribly confusion controls. To quote myself from GBATemp:

Wiimote didn't seem to do anything...aka it seems to act the same as it did in the previous revision.

EDIT: The wiimote doesn't do anything... IN-GAME. The sample loader, however, now has Wiimote controls even though the text still says "Press X and/or Y". Press 2 on the wiimote to mount USB and press 1 on the wiimote to mount SD card; also use the Home button for "Press START".

EDIT 2: Classic controller also works for the sample loader, however the controls are horribly confusing. Press "X" to mount SD card, press "A" to mount USB, press "B" to load game, press "Y" to exit, and press "Home" for 'Press Start'.

TBH, I hope it won't be like it currently is, because I hate it when the in-game button letters don't match the controller's button letters (except in cases where it'd be sub-optimal, like the c-buttons in Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask)

Anyway, r188 also comes with a force widescreen rendering function. However, I don't know how to enable it...

I would have assumed it would be that way (ie A = A, B = B, etc etc) but from what you've said it doesn't sound that way. Personally I prefer the GC controller anyway, but I know a lot of people (specifically those with newer Wii's and Wii U's) will take Classic Con support however they can get it lol.

Wiiflow has apparently added an option to enable the widescreen rendering I mentioned previously, no idea about other USB loaders.

Also it supposedly supports two specific Playstation to USB adapters, one is unknown currently, but the other is one of these two:

Amazon.com: Dual Playstation / Playstation 2 to PC USB Controller Adapter (Lifetime Warranty): Video Games

So anyone with Playstation to USB adapters should give it a whirl - be sure to test via the sample loader because it may only be supported there and not support in-game controls yet.

EDIT: Just realized, said adapters may work in-game but NOT in the loader! So be sure to test that as well. For adapters with multiple controller ports, you may need to test all of the ports.

Also, that USB adapter on Amazon MAY just be a Mayflash Super Dual Box with generic branding:

I'll try out my Xbox controller lol, will be kinda awesome if it works. When I get a chance that is, I have a very long couple days of work ahead of me so I may not get to try till next weekend.
