LOL I just realized where I saw the txt file thing. When you said the "included notes" i assumed some txt file, but you were talking about the spoilers XD.
Anyway, I've tried everything, but each time the screen just goes black and the disc slot never blinks. I'm not really sure what to do, I feel bad that I can't figure out something supposedly simple. The devolution app itself says "Disc ID: 0000000 Press Start to Exit" when I mount the hdd, if that could mean anything.

I must have misunderstood you, I thought you were trying it via USB Loader GX lol, that error means the Basic Loader could not mount your device due to the ISOs being placed in the wrong folder. For the Basic loader games must be in USB/games, no sub folders but you can name the game ISO however you want. So say you're trying to play Super Mario Sunshine, you need to place the ISO like this: USB/games/Super Mario Sunshine.iso. Of course as I said the ISO can be named whatever you want, so long as it is in USB/games.

Yes try that, download my USB Loader GX attachment and follow the directions I the USB Loader GX spoiler.

The USB GX attachment includes USB Loader GX r1209 boot.dol & Devolution's loader.bin. As long as you follow the instructions on page 1 you should get it working no problem

Ok I followed everything step by step to a T and it wont load. I did it for all the loaders and not a single one will work. I dont understand why the basic loader cant see the iso's, but whatever it is, its effecting all versions of devolution. I reformatted my hdd just to make sure it was 32bit cluster size, and still nothing.

Well, there are 2 last suggestions I have. If you've followed the guide step by step and it just doesn't work for you, then A) Your USB device isn't compatible with Devolution or B) Maybe your cIOS setup is the issue in which case I would say run and post a system check in here so I, or another user, may look it over and see if it could be the problem.

First and foremost I recommend trying another USB device to rule out the USB drive as the problem.

Edit: another thing I need to mention, which has recently been brought to my attention, is it appears Devolution does not get along with hard modded Wii's. so if your Wii has a mod chip try disabling the chip and see if that helps. I've seen several posts on a couple other sites (looked into it after being informed) and many people have said Devo wouldn't work until they disabled their chip.

The games will load yes, but without GC ports you have no way to control them. Teudj is working on adding classic con support but there's no ETA on when that will be added.

I have a quick question - is it possible to run Devolution and either Dios Mios or DML from the same loader for different games? I currently have dios mios set up but I have a few games that don't won't load. They are supposed to be compatible with Devolution and I would like to load those games with Devolution but continue using DM for the others that are working properly.
    Thanks!

Yes, you can do that. For the games that aren't working on DM just click on the game, click settings, loader settings, then look for GameCube Mode. Change it to Devolution. When you change settings that way (via the games settings) only that game will be effected, the others will continue to use the global settings or their own settings.
