Protip: Devolution won't work on systems with modchips.

Call me harsh if you want, but I'm totally unimpressed with Devolution so far.
You're using an old version of Devolution. I own F-Zero GX and it didn't work until r160 and newer.

Thank you for confirming this, I had a hunch it was true but no way to confirm it. I did search around online, even on Devo's home thread but saw nothing about chipped systems (perhaps I didn't look hard enough?).

Interesting part is I updated the attachments to r169 on January 9th and he posted that on January 22nd. So if he really does have an outdated Devolution he did not follow my guide...

    Ok lets see...
USB formatted as FAT32 with 32kb cluster
Devo app in Apps folder on SD card
replaced Boot.dol in Loader GX with the one from the zip file
    all the custom paths

and the part where you say "While in Custom Paths scroll down till you see "Devolution Loader Path" and press A on it. Navigate to sd:/apps/usbloader_gx" has me confused. because its not in there, but is it supposed to be? I read somewhere you said something about a txt file that explains some stuff, It wasnt in that zip file. :?

I don't recall saying anything about text files regarding Devolution. But here is what seems to be the problem, it sounds like you're downloading the Basic Loader and trying to use it via USB Loader GX. That's not how it works. Try downloading my USB GX attachment again, it should work now (I tried it just now, I can confirm it works) it has everything you need.

The instructions I wrote on page one take into account the prepared attachments in which I have included the Devolution Loader.bin (the ONLY way to use Devolution integrated into USB GX). If you did not/could not get my attachment and had to get USB GX elsewhere, download and extract this: Devolution r169 loader.bin, look in the sub-folders for "loader.bin". When you find it cut and paste it into apps/usbloader_gx

Then set the "Devolution Loader Path" to apps/usbloader_gx and it should work.

FYI, it'd probably be wise to add a link to this page in the first post:

Yes, I had considered that. I wasn't sure if linking to outside sources was ok or not but as this is simply a compatibility list it probably would be ok. I shall ask the other staffers what they think.

That said, damn that list is good! Nearly every game on it is listed as working perfect/near perfect!
