Everything seemed to work except the nand emulation. Both games I attempted to boot resulted in a black screen that required turning off the console to get rid of. The games were titled oddly as well, one JADE and the other JDCP or something along those lines.
They are most likely channels not recognized rather than wiiware or vc titles, try injecting a .wad file of a wiiware title or vc game that u own and see if it appears there. Also make sure u have the very latest Usb loader gx
Thanks for the guide mate.
I am a bit confused.....Is this 2 different ways to play game cube games? 1. Through nand emulation and 2. Through USB loading
Is the Nand stuff neccessary if I just want to do USB loading? Or is the Nand stuff something completely seperate from the game cube stuff?
I haven't tried yet, but I have nand emulation working for Wii ware and VC titles, and I have USB loading for wii games, and I am just wanting to know how to backup and play my game cube games fro HDD.....so it seems to me I just need to install the DIOS MIOS wad and put the games on the HDD....is that right?
Also you seem to skip over a part that seems important to me, how do I get the .iso from the gamecube disc? Will USB loader GX just be able to rip it like it does for my wii games? I have no idea, can those little game cube discs be put in any regular computer drive for ripping? The only way you seem to mention getting games is dragging iso in the DiscEx....and what is that step actually doing anyway? Converting to WBFS?
Thanks for the guide.

U are correct, if u only wish to play gc games then u only need install dios mios and install the games to the hd correctly, and yes u can rip the gc game with usb loader gx
I read some other things about this
1. Do you have to have a disc in your wii for this to work?
2. Does this break the ability to play retail gamecube titles?
No and no, but it will break the ability to play backup discs.
The demo video is direct from hd no disc inserted
Sent from my GT-N7000 using WiiHacks
Seems playing backup discs is not nearly as popular as USB loading and I read that many systems can't play backup discs at all. I am not sure if mine can, is there a good guide for how to do this? Do you have to use Neogamma R7 to play backups? Seems a lot of stuff I find on wii hacking is old and I am often unsure if the info is up to date.
Anyway is it a simple matter of swapping out the Dio Mios Wad to get the backup funcitonality back?
yes, just reinstall mios v10 to regain disc compatibility
