Just plug in your device with the EmuNAND on it, to your computer and use ShowMiiWads.

    It works!!

Using gxr1208 and a USB stick instead of HDD I'm finally able to load GC games! Thanks for the help. It is greatly appreciated!

BTW SNES_Master, it was not necessary to alter the long paths the gx rip creates. Wind Waker loads just fine as:

usb:/games/THE LEGEND OF ZELDA The Wind Waker for USA [GZLE01]/game.iso

Now to reformat my every day drive and see if it is compatible. Fortunately, I keep it well backed up for just such an emergency. *best Foghorn Leghorn voice*

Edit: It's working on my preferred drive too! Thanks again.

Curious how dual disc games work. Has anyone ever made the transition on, say, Killer 7?

Glad to hear it's all solved. Regarding two disc games, I'm able to play most of the two disc Resident Evil titles with no loading issues. Resident Evil 0 produces an error when performing the swap but works with the physical disc. Metal Gear Solid is working as well on the automatic swap. Enjoy your now working setup.

Thanks BxLgnd. Your link to the newer version and usb stick tip really put me over the top. Ripping thru my GC library has revealed some niggles but I'll hold the questions until something intelligent to say. lol

Is there still a case of certain Gamecube games loaded on the USB drive requiring a disk in the drive for it to boot? I have one that's not on the old list but was not sure if this is still a common problem.

The only game I know for sure that needs a disc in the drive is Spider-Man: The Game.

Hmm The one I am having problems with is Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer, My copy is a Pal copy on a NTSC Wii. All my other Pal games have ripped fine.

A disc is still needed in the drive if it did before.

Have you tried it with the disc in the drive? Are you ripping it compressed? Have you tried loading from a different USB device?

Thank you the well organized thread! I was able to follow the directions as prescribed with only a few issues. Now my Wii games are protected from the grubby fingers of my children!
