At least now I get a consistent result now matter how the loader is launched. Still broken, though. lol Dios mios and the a hang on black screen.

    Pathing look like this:

usb:/games/THE LEGEND OF ZELDA The Wind Waker for USA [GZLE01]/game.iso

Ripped another game and get the same result.
    Change the path to USB:/games/GZLE01/GZLE01.ISO

That's how mine is set up and it worked with Dios Mios when I used it.

All I can tell you is that I followed the guide to the letter and it says cluster size will be set automatically. Tried to verify but properties in easeus doesn't seem to offer that. Any way to tell after the fact? Thanks for al the help. btw.

You have to do it manually by right clicking the partition and selecting format. I've found that easeUS is not doing it automatically.

Don't think so, is the game the correct region for your wii? Also try what Snes_Master offered because if u look at chapter 5 section 4 that is how it should be, maybe ripping via the wii sets it up a little different

Not a region issue. It's a retail copy I was playing without issue just this morning.

Crashes differently after the path/name change. Now I get "app-entry is not within the apploader area" from dios mios.

I'll do some testing with a spare hdd to see if it's a cluster size problem. Going to grab some sleep first. Thanks for all the help!!

Why/how would I do that? Path only points to /games

Actually with USB Loader GX the path can be anywhere you want pretty much. For me I set it to USB/GameCube and it worked perfectly, all I had to do was set the custom path and put each game as USB/GameCube/GameID/GameID.ISO

To change to path just go to settings > custom paths > main GameCube path

Then point it to the folder with your GC ISOs.
