    Really awesome guide, I love that I can now delete some useless Channels (News and Weather) without actually deleting them! I also love my Wii being 100% brick proof But I have one question, can DIOS MIOS be installed and used on EmuNAND? When I try to install it with USB Loader GX I get an error message, installing with ShowMiiWads works but the games won't load...I've gotten it working on real NAND before though.

    I also can't seem to get it to save VCGames "saves states" to the real NAND.

    Thanks Pob don't know why I didn't think of that myself I will try it when I get home tonight and let you know how I got on.

    Ok, tried your solution Pob but to my horror when I switched my wii on i've got a black screen, I cant synch my wiimote, nothing, I borrowed a friends wii to check all my cables work and they do as his wii loaded fine, unmodded might I add. Help please, USB is in and on, sd card in nothing!! Is it bricked? I have preloader and nand backed up as I remodded my wii before doing this guide.

    Swopped USB ports over and its loaded, odd as your guide says use the outter one yet it loaded with the USB plugged into the right hand port as you look at the front of your wii. I'm going to play around see if everything is in tact, is it safe to proceed with the installation of DM via sd card to finish of your guide??

    USB Loader doesn't load via port 2 is says mounting port 1 which is empty then wii freezes, reset wii loaded fine then swopped ports over USB Loader loads fine now with games in tact pheww!!! Still a bit concerned about the behavior of my wii, any advice anyone?

    turned wii of then back on again as a test and black screen, done it several times and eventually it loaded, this is annoying any suggestions on how to solve this issue anyone??

    I've never really heard of an intermittent black screen problem so not really sure how to advise, i would assume it a hardware issue

    Anytime I use USB Loader GXs "Install WAD to EmuNAND" option it reaches 100% and says "successful" but the channel displays blank and loads to a black screen, however, if I install the wad with ShowMiiNAND via my computer it works perfectly. Is there some problem with GXs wad install feature or am I doing something wrong?

    Not that I'm aware of as I use this feature, are you installing wads that only work on real NAND?

    No, I tried installing a channel for one of my Homebrew apps, I tried installing an extracted wad from one of my VC games I bought and I tried installing a channel I made for FCE Ultra GX. All the installs said "Successful" but the channels appears blank and when I click start it loads to a black screen. If I install them to the EmuNAND using my computer and ShowMiiNAND though they work perfectly, so I know it's not a problem of whether it works only with real NAND or not.

    From what I read in the Beta test section on USB GXs google code page it is a known issue, the author of the program commented that he is aware of the issue and is working on fixing it. I'm not sure when it will be fixed or if it only applies to the latest beta (r1203) but he said for now anyone needing to install a wad to their EmuNAND should use ShowMiiWads.

    Excuse my ignorance, but whats the difference between DM and DML? I remember there was a reason I didn't want to use DM but cant remember.
    Also, in the case I instal DM following this guide, will my Wii's ability to run retain GC games remain unharmed?

    DML = SD loading
    DM = USB loading
