is this thread full? obviously not...i dunno what happened to the last reply i had...but i did try all that. im trying it again just to make sure i didnt do anything wrong. im trying to cut my games down to one partition. ive never added wii games to a fat32 or NTFS (possible??) ive always used game manager and i know that isnt the route to go when you arent using WBFS. Is it the same as gamecube? Just make a folder called games and transfer the iso (wbfs style work on fat?) over?

if i understand you right you have your movies or whatever plus your wii games on the 2nd partition and it is formatted to NTFS right? And your first partition is just gamecube games formatted to fat32 32 clusters.

Now do both of these have to be in clusters? or just the fat32 partition.

It may just be your USB Loader settings
    wiiflow v4.0.1 r431 No DVD Patch/ Default.

for eg my Wii games are in a wbfs folder on my NTFS or FAT32 HDD,
    USB/wbfs/ Just Dance 3 [SJDE41]/ SJDE41.wbfs
guide-fat32.html for everything, GC games, WII games, and HB stuff
-ntfs-hard-drives only for WII games and Videos
I did not use these guides but they are great, I use WiiBackupManager_Build78 for WII games for NTFS or FAT32 HDD
I have two Wii, 1st HDD one partition FAT32
2nd HDD, 1st partition FAT32, 2nd partition NTFS, both works perfect
If you use wbfs2fat all your WII games will be in a wbfs folder and they will work perfect.

Best advice I can give, back up all the data on your HDD and format it to FAT32 32kb clusters...the full drive. Then switch to Wii Backup Manager to load your Wii games onto the drive as .wbfs files (or ISOs if you prefer). This way here you can everything Wii based on 1 single partition. If, however, you use the HDD for your comp as well then FAT32 single partition wouldn't be helpful.
That's how mine is set up, full 640gb FAT32 drive with separate folders for everything. Much more convent (IMO) have one HDD dedicated for Wii use and making it a single partition.

trying to get another HDD, but im broke

alright ive deleted my wbfs partition. i have my first partition set to fat32. It contains a folder called games, with my gc games in (after using discex) also have a folder called WBFS, which has all my wii games (wbfs files transfered over). My second partition is set to NTFS for my dvds and what not. I am also going to move over everything from my sd card (homebrew channel stuff) to the root of my sd. Will see what happens and update when its done (transfers have taken the most time)

edit** Still no luck. All games are on one partition. formatted to Fat32. Im gonna have to check the clusters...but im still not starting any gc games, only now it doesnt shut off at the nintendo logo it black screens right after the dios mios.

i went into MMM and went to uninstall and reinstall dios mios. I would not let me uninstall, but it did install successfully. (dunno if this could affect it)

    Wii games still run fine

i am confused. i keep seeing people say stuff in settings about DM or something and am not seeing it anywhere in any loader program.

any help would be great. if youd like i can send you a pm of a youtube link to show you what its doing. although its pretty easy to see.

    ~Another edit**

after getting a better hard drive program i found out i was on 64k cluster. I moved it to 32 bit. My dios mios once again loads and loads until the nintendo sign, this time the nintendo symbol stays on about 5 seconds (opposed to the 2 before) and then my wii shuts off. I've been at this over a day. I dont wanna give up but im about to.

Also try dios-mios-booter r30 to make sure DIOS MIOS 2.2 is working from USB. If it does not work, re-install DIOS MIOS 2.2 wad for USB,( not DIOS MIOS Lite for SD) install with Wad Manager with IOS236 .Try different GC games.
Always try from HBC first.Update USB Loaders to the newest ones.
Wiiflow settings/ game partition / USB1. No DVD Patch/ Default. GC games will not work if you choose USB2 or if you enabled DVD Patch.
You could try all USB Loaders to see which one works for you,
CFG Loader r48 or wiiflow v4.0.1 r431or Downloads - usbloader-gui - USB Loader GX update to USB Loader GX r1202,Replace the boot.dol in your SD or USB /apps/ usbloader_gx with the updated one.

tried dios mios-bootloader. came to the dios mios sign and got a Fatal error apploader size is zero error. Have all the updated loaders. Installed dios mios 2.2 with Ios236. will go through settings on D-M bootloader.

Boot Method - New (DM 2.1)
    Language - Wii
    Video Mode - Auto
    Booter Drive Reset - Off
    Ntsc -J Patch - off
    Video Patching - Auto
    Cheats - off
    debugger - off
    Wait for debugger - off
    NMM - off
    NMM debug - off
    Activity LED - off
    Pad hook - off
    No Disc - off
    Widescreen (DM 2.1) - Off

    Okay now im really confused...

i go into dios mios bootloader, and i try and load two different games (animal crossing and smash bros) that were transfered over after using them in DiscEX v0.9
It loads to the dios mios sign and i get the error from above. (Fatal error apploader size is zero error)

Now when i go into wiiflow, i try and load the games, now this time it gets past the dios mios. On smash bros, it tells me no memory card, lets me say continue without memory card, another screen that says nothing can be saved (part of the smash bros game itself). You hit a, it pops to a the nintendo screen and then cuts off power to wii. Animal crossing is the same thing, i get to the nintendo sign at the beginning of the game and it shuts off...im hella confused.

Use your hard drive program, change both partitions to logical and then change the fat32 to primary 1st plus active and then the NTFS to primary.

i did this. and now for some reason my games are showing up in wiiflow on usb2 rather than 1. even though in Acronis it is the first. i didnt do anything but change what you said...but now the dios mios sign doesnt even come up. Just black screen freezes. im assuming because the games are on usb 2

im about to give up on this for real...might just wait for a pimp my wii kinda deal to get this to work

Try it again make sure both are logical, then apply it and close Acronis. Then restart Acronis and change the fat32 to primary 1st plus active and leave the NTFS as logical and apply it. Then try Wiiflow and see if the games are showing up in USB1.

still nothing. i Do believe. For the first time since i hard modded a wii five years ago (have had 3 different wiis since, all softmods) i have encountered something that i cant figure out. Ive run into hundreds of problems with this deal, but ive always seemed to figure it out eventually...i think i give up on this one.
