    Hey all, quick question...

I'm running WiiFlow Mod 3.1 -r663, IOS249 and DIOS MIOS 2.2. Once I start up a GameCube game, when I'm done with whatever game I loaded, I shutdown by pressing the button on the system itself.

Is there some sort of button combination that does the same thing or returns to the channel? Thanks!

    @DrkrZen,

If you read the very first post near the end under "Other Notes" it says that "R, Z, Start" does a reset and "R, Z, d-pad Down, B" shuts it down. I don't know of a button combo that will take you back to the loader though. I'm at work so I haven't personally tried this yet so let me know if this works for you.

Hey Clutz, DML wad creator is pretty much just discex with a user interface. I'm sorry but I only know how to format and compress the .isos one at a time (unless you're going to have multiple .exe files in different folders and drag them individually to each .exe). It really doesn't take that long...

Also, DML Wad creator and discex have to be in the same folder.

Blah, I didn't even see that... forgive me for overlooking that, but I thank you for the reply. It worked perfectly.

I re-installed it with IOS 236 and it's still giving me trouble. I can confirm it is definitely DIOS MIOS that's giving me problems and not my USB device nor USB Loader GX (I tested Metroid Prime 2 Echoes, a game I know for sure works with DM 2.2, and it didn't run).

Ok, you're using USB Loader GX 3.0 r1200 that I linked, you installed DM2.2 with iOS236 and your HDD is FAT32 with 32kb clusters but the game isn't running? What directory do you have the ISO stored in, how have you confirmed the ISO is not damaged in some way? Just going off a game being confirmed to work is not enough, if you have a damaged ISO that could also prevent it from working. Lastly have you made sure to set USB Loaders global settings correctly?

All questions that may help lead to the solution to this issue.

    Yes, yes and yes.

The ISO is stored in a folder called 'games' in the root of the HDD. I know the ISO isn't damaged because I've downloaded and played that very same ISO without problem. Unless it was damaged in the downloading? I don't know if that's possible.

And yes, the DML settings are set to 2.2+

Just out of curiosity: when I load USB Loader GX from the HBC it shows it's r1180, but when I check the credits on the app it shows it's r1200. Is this because the meta file contains the app info?

    NEVERMIND! I'm an idiot.

For some reason some of the games I played before and that worked with r1200 and DM 2.2 aren't working anymore. These include Metroid Prime 2 Echoes, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 and 007 NightFire.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Mario Kart Double Dash!! are the ones that work.

Thanks a lot for your patience and sorry for wasting your time.

It's possible, I would run an MD5 hash check just to be sure.
As for the HBC showing USB GX as r1180 when the app says it's r1200 that is because the betas don't include an update to meta.xml. The metal.xml is what contains the information show on HBC after clicking the app. All you need to do is open the meta.xml in a program that can read it (WordPad works but lately I've been using NotePad++) and look for the following tag

    <version>r1180</version>

Change the r1180 to r1200 and next time you look in HBC it should be changed to what you entered.

Edit: jus occurred to me, make sure in addition to being in the Games folder, the ISO is in a second folder named for the games ID (that is if you haven't already done so). I think I may have told you this before, I don't recall lol...The proper directory is Games/GameID/game.iso.

    Example using Zelda Wind Waker

    Games/GZLE01/game.iso

Yes, the game must literally be named "game.iso"

    Hope this helps.

Yeah, I have a folder with the game ID. Inside it is game.iso and a folder called 'sys'.

Did you see my last post? I explained why DM wasn't working.

How do you run a MD5 hash?

I saw your last post, minus the edit you added. If some games that use to work are no longer working after the update that leaves only 2 possibilities. The ISO has somehow become corrupt or the new DM broke compatibility for the game(s) In question. You could always install an older version of DM (say, 2.1) and see if they work again. If not you can check into Devolution, Devolution plays some games DM doesn't and it can do audio streaming. Devo is also an app located on /apps so it can be used in combination with DM with no worries of one affecting the other.
