I have a problem: USB Loader GX 3.0 r1200 isn't loading any GC games. I have DIOS MIOS 2.2 and the loader settings are set to DM 2.2. I have no problems loading Wii games but when it comes to GC games it gets stuck in the DIOS MIOS GC logo.

I'm trying to load The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker NTSC. The game was scrubbed when I downloaded it and I used DiscEx to compress it (I already knew it was scrubbed). Could this have caused any problems?

Try ripping it from your retail disc and putting the Clean 1:1 ISO in the correct directory. A lot of times a DLed game doesn't work is because the uploaded scrubbed something important. I can confirm that Wind Waker definitely works with DIOS MIOS 2.2.

I can confirm it works excellently, it's the same revision I use.

Do I have to copy both files or just the .dol file?

I'm still have trouble running GC games and I can confirm it's a DM problem and not a problem with the ISOs I downloaded nor the loader I'm using. I tried using DM Booter and I got a "Fatal app error: dst was not found on MEM1!" error.

Just copy the boot.dol that uses IOS249 and put it in your USB Loader GX folder. As for the error loading the game ISO, just take my advice and try re-ripping the ISO. Also which IOS did you use for the installation of DIOS MIOS?

IOS 249. I've used it before to install it.

Is there any kind of batch file or program that will make it easier to automatically convert my Gamecube games using discex and then compress them with gcreex? Unless I am just missing it, I can't find an answer to this by searching the forums. Right now the way I am converting and compressing my games is to drag and drop my gamecube iso into the discex exe. Then I take the converted iso and open it into gcreex and click the shrink button and put the new iso back into the folder created by discex. This way is working for me but it is just so tedius to do for each game and I was hoping there was a way to automate the whole process or any advice on something else I could be doing to make things easier on me. Thank you.

Clutz, you can convert and compress with disc ex alone. You just need to add this to the end of it "-c".

I think I elaborated on this much earlier in this thread... brb I'll edit this in a minute.

Okay. I removed it from the guide because I thought not a lot of people were using it. You have a problem with wad creator?

Well you can drag your .iso file to discex.exe by itself and it will format it for you automatically. It will simultaneously compress it if you create a shortcut for it and add to the target extension " -c" with the space. Then drag and BAM formatted gamecube .iso spaghetti.

I never knew that discex could do both. So right there you have already cut my time in half. I still have to drag and drop each iso file individually though to discex. I tried dragging and dropping a bunch of files at one time but it didn't work. I've never used wad creator before. Is it better than just using discex? Can that handle multiple isos at once or do I still have to drag and drop each file individually? And if it can't do more than one at a time, has anyone created or know how to create a batch script that can do that?
