Isn't NMM just an option you activate in the loader vs. being something that you have to install?

well I'm using wiiflow, and I just looked through all the settings, I don't see anything about NMM or any type of saving feature. I don't have a DM channel, otherwise I'd more-than-likely use that instead of wiiflow.

DM isn't an app that you launch, but an add-on that is installed in the system that is accessible by any loader. Try other loaders to see if they have the option.

I'm not sure what was in the .wad you installed, you may have to remod your system to get things back to where they are working again without a memory card.

Yeah I tried wiiflow, and USB loader GX. Is there any way to save GC files to SD that you know of?

Yeah I'm just gonna remod, thanks for your help, I appreciate it. As for remodding I have a NAND backup from my first softmod trial (installed bootmii as IOS) but the second time I did boot2 and followed the "softmod ANY wii" guide. I tried to go to homebrew and launch bootmii but the option is not there, then I tried going into priiloader and launching bootmii IOS, but it says it cannot find the bootmii. Any ideas? Could you link me to a good forum that shows me how to do that? I cannot find one.

I was thinking about just opening up letterbomb and installing bootmii as IOS to see if "launch bootmii" would appear in homebrew, if that would work, and think it would be a safe way to remod, then just say so and don't worry about sending a link, I know how to load the backup through that.

As you could probably tell I'm new to the wii/modding community, so I'm not familiar with much, but thanks for all your help so far, I appreciate it.

You would have to reinstall the bootmii files to the SD card in order to do that. But you probably just need to start over with chapter 2 and re-install all of the .wad files (ModPack and IOS Update). Then reapply the Dios Mios wad from that guide.

I started over from chapter 2, and installed Dios Mios again, didn't work. I'm guessing my best option is to remod?

Gamecube games will no longer load via USB

A few days ago I installed Dios Mios, everything was perfect, I was able to load Gamecube games just fine.

    BUT. . .

I don't have a GC memory card, and I wanted to be able to save my game files, so I downloaded NMM.wad (No More Memory.wad)
which supposedly saves the files to your SD card, and installed it via Wad Manager v1.7, and now my GC games will not load via USB.

Here's what I have tried to do to fix the problem:
1- re-installing the Dios Mios, and NMM wads.
2- uninstalling both Dios Mios, and NMM wads, both did NOT uninstall, it showed up as an error.
    3- re-installing every single wad I have.

The last thing I can think of is restoring my wii backup, and that really the last thing I want to do.

    Extra info:
    -My Wii firmware is 4.3U
-I used this guide to softmod my wii: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html
-I used this guide to install Dios Mios: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...r-usb-hdd.html
-I only softmodded my wii about four days ago, so I'm sure all my stuff is up to date
-Obviously I'm in the newbie thread, but I do have a decent grasp on softmodding so far
-My Wii games DO load with my USB loaders
-I installed DM and NMM in IOS236
-I cannot find ANY type of saving feature in the wiiflow settings --maybe I'm not searching enough?

Here is a system check in case anyone asked for it.

    Spoiler

Remind me, which WIIHACKS guide instructed you to install that wad? And don't double post.

Have you tried uninstalling the BAD "no more memory.wad" you installed with wad manager?
NMM is an option you enable in the loader settings or GameCube game settings.

Yeah sorry about the double post, editing it into the original post slipped my mind thanks for fixing!

I used this guide to install Dios Mios, and he recommended the NMM.wad.
