    1213 isn't the most up to date but it should work nonetheless. Do you have a second USB device you can try so we can rule that out? It could be that the multiple partitions you have setup are causing the issue or it could be the drive may not be compatible with Dios Mios at all (USB loading GameCube and Wii games have different compatibility). If it turns out the drive doesn't work with DM you may want to try Devolution.

    Bad dumps could be a possibility. The GX version you have or the latest version of CFG (r65) have the ability to properly rip the disks directly instead of having to mess with DMToolbox and its settings.

    I'm about to update my version of USB Loader GX just to see if that fixes anything. Unfortunately, I don't have any other USB devices to use so if mine's not compatible, I'm kind of out of luck until I can get another one. In the meantime, I'll download Devolution and see if that works any better. Are there any guides or tutorials anyone knows of for Devolution?

    So I'm reading up on Devolution, and it requires the use of the game discs as well as the iso file. This is a problem for me because I ripped some of my isos from borrowed games of friends, hoping to not need them while using Dios Mios. Is there a way around this,or another similar program that doesn't require the use of the game disc?

    DMToolbox doesn't transfer any files anywhere, it "massages" an .iso image into a format usable by DM, you copy the results to the hard drive when done.

    Dios Mios isn't installed onto SD or USB. You copy the .wad file to SD and install it to system memory using a WAD manager, but after that, the .wad file is no longer needed.

    So I have no idea what you've done or not done since what you're saying makes no sense.
    Sorry for being confusing, I was just replying to candylove's post.
    That's what I did with DMToolbox, I set the output file into my HDD.
    Yes, that's also what I meant with Dios Mios. I installed it using WAD manager in my SD card. However, the game still doesn't show up in CFG USB Loader.

    @michael:

    Do you have comprehension issues? Pretty sure the issue of piracy is pretty spelled out in site rules. And your parting question is specifically addressed in the guide you so obviously refused to read --- otherwise you'd not be asking this.

    I have reset your acceptance of site rules to give you another opportunity to read them.

    @nightstah

    I apologize if I've offended you or this site in any way and hope you don't not feel the need to respond with such curt replies in the future. I did read the guide fully, several times, so maybe, since I am extremely new to the whole idea of modding a wii, there was something I missed or misunderstood. If you, or anyone else for that matter, would be so kind as to point me to the answer to my question in the guide which seems obvious to you but seems to have completely eluded me, I would greatly appreciate it.

    @michael:

    The point of my curt reply is based on your original inquiry. The goal or purpose of our guides is to facilitate making legitimate backups of retail games you own. The word "retail" does indeed appear in SNES' guide. We do not knowingly facilitate piracy. You were asking us to facilitate piracy.

    To offer the obligatory reasons there'd be a need to softmod your Wii and play backups (whether Wii or GC): kids love to lose, break, or otherwise harm the media. USB loading is also far more efficient and effective, and easily affordable. I have a pile of discs that I keep safe after installing to a USB HD. I'd rather to have to replace a 2.5" USB drive than several games.

    Indeed, as Nightstah said and our rules also say, if you don't actually own the games we cannot help you.
