No, it simply takes someone reading the whole guide. You want proof? I don't Gamecube, never have at all. Yet I understand this basic principle or concept. Instead, you'd find it more palatable to place blame on a guide rather than an individual's comprehension process. That begs an answer for the unasked question; I feel no constructive purpose would come from me supplying the answer.

But when someone asks in the guide it should also only take one line to communicate the same thing and some people still won't get it......

For instance, it was explicitly stated by candylove in a post you thanked him for and then you continued to be told by several other people, very politely, the same exact thing.

    Zusfrid:

Be cordial please, you're tenuously close to blatant disregard of site rules and decorum. You've been a member here long enough to know how things on site work; further remarks like that should not be made. Do not disregard this advice.

I did not intend to offend anybody.
On the contrary, it was me who was targeted with quite unfriendly remarks
(like "it is so obvious... why don;t you get it")

I will not make further debate in the public forums (nor will I entertain such in private). Staff, contributors, and so forth all donate their knowledge and time without compensation. While it may seem one-sided to you, enough exchanges have been made by several parties and yourself made without malice or intent.

Just file it under the category of "now you know," and then decide upon a course of action. We have guides for optical (I provided), this guide (USB device only), and SD device only. Also, Devolution which is authored and maintained by SNES_Master.

I think the fact that this is only coming up now, after the post has existed for over 13 months without anyone else complaining about it, leads me to think it's "user error".

    Sorry. No offense meant.
I started with the question and then just made a suggestion to add a line to the guide.
But now, as far as I am consern the case is closed.
