    new issue....

I cannot view any of my games (Wii or GB) per USB loader now, and honestly I am lost...

    USB device supported
    FAT32 partition / 32k sectors - confirmed

I have add a syscheck log here in hopes someone can point me in the right direction

    Spoiler

    I appreciate the help
Unrelated to your DiosMios problem, but your system is missing a lot of cIOS's. Those you do have are not up to date.

Check my signature for Softmod Any Wii guide and find the part in Chapter 2 where you download and install the contents of ModPack.zip.

Remove the CFG files in the USB Loader apps 1st and see if it gets rid of the issues

    - Do you mean the CFG files in this location E:/config/ (GXGameFavorites.cfg / GXGlobal.cfg)
    - I cannot locate any other cfg files (on SD) that seem to be associated with USBLoader

In GX on top click loader mode, check GC Games and Wii games.

    - I have no idea where I can locate this. Do you mean inside USBLoader_GX? I see nothing

I just added WiiFlow to the SD card (did not have it before, just ran USBLoader_GX)

CFGLoader only downloads a DOL file, where do I place that...? root of SD?

Thanks for the assist again. I will start with these baby steps

    **UPDATE

I downloaded the WiiPack, and added it to my SD card. I installed all 7 cIOS's as requested
WiiFlow will not locate my partition either

standby, on the 3rd attempt to locate partition via WiiFlow, I now see all my games. Getting cover artwork now, and will then test the games

WiiFlow sees all my Wii and GC games. I can locate all cover art, and download it successfully. When I try a game, it black screens. Additionally, trying USBLoader_GX crashes when it tries to load (Exception (DSI) occurred!)

Instead of trying to update what I currently have, can I simply start over at Chapter 2 of as llaffer suggested? Start with a format and work from there? I have also attached an updated syscheck

    Spoiler

    ::fingers crossed
Remove the old CFG file in the GX app folder it will make new ones.
The new GX does not need the config folder anymore just the GX app folder with the updated boot.dol, icon and meta file from the previous GX app and CFGLoader dol file is the updated boot.dol it goes in the previous CFGLoader app.
USBLoader_GX_V3_0_AllinOnePackage_IOS249.zip and replace the old boot.dol with the updated boot.dol

replace the old boot.dol in the CFGLoader app with the updated boot.dol (rename it boot.dol)

I have done what you suggested, and now I have GX updated and running smoothly. It reads and plays my Wii games, but when loading a GC game DM loads, then tells me I need updated loaders. Almost there...

Any ideas on how I should troubleshoot this?

    thx

Which version of Dios Mios are you using?

For the latest version of DM, you shouuld be using the latest loaders available. I have links to three of them in my signature.

Though, I know you've been getting help from others doing things that I'm not familiar with, so if you are using an older version of DM, you may need something in the middle for a loader, which I no longer have.

I'm still using GX r1209 I did not update to GX r1211 yet
After you replace the old boot.dol in the GX app with the updated boot.dol GX r1211 (r1211_IOS249) or r1209 (r1209_IOS249)
Try from HBC 1st and update your GX Channel with USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder_5_1_AHBPROT.wad

Which version of Dios Mios are you using?

    - can I determine that from a sysscan, or somewhere else?
update: Pretty sure its 2.9, thats what the rar file name is I used

I'm still using GX r1209 I did not update to GX r1211 yet

    - How can I determine what I am running?

update your GX Channel with USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder_5_1_AHBPROT.wad
    - To clarify:
    Download
    USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder_5_1_AHBPROT.wad
copy to wad folder on sd card
    load Wad Manager via HB
    navigate to
    USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder_5_1_AHBPROT.wad
    update wad

    thx

To determine which version of GX is running, go to the settings (icon in the lower-left corner), then go to the last page, then select Credits.

It will be shown in the upper-right corner.

If you have r1209, DM 2.9 should work.

If you are launching it from the Wii menu instead of from HBC, you may be launching an old version of GX. Do the steps above to find out.

If you end up launching the old version, then launch it from HBC to make sure you are running 1209, then DM should work.

I updated my GX to r1209, changed to d2x v8 cIOS and installed dios mios 2.8 using wad manager and ios249 and I get a black screen after hitting start. I tried wiiflow 4.1 and got the same problem. my hdd is compatible with older versions of GX, DM and wiiflow (1.5tb Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk)

Per the Credits screen in GX:

    v3.0 IOS249 (Rev 21006)
    (d2x v6final base56)

When I launch GX via HB:

I click on the artwork and get the game screen with the "settings" and "start" buttons.
I click on "Start" and get a pop up window

    This game is on USB.
Do you want to copy the game to SD or delete a game from SD?

    Buttion:
    - Copy
    - Show SD
    - Cancel

Not sure what to do here
