    1. Read the guide (the answer is in there, it would appear in fact you already know this).
    2. Read this, that should answer your question.
    3. It's in the guide, not sure what you're asking about (are you saying can you fix without reformatting? why, do you have irreplaceable files?)
    4. I'd ask "what the hell are you talking about," but am too afraid of the answer.

I really want to use Wiiflow. The one that came in the pack is r238 so 4.1 is newer? I like wiiflow because if i can get it working with the plug ins i can have nes, snes, n64 and sega games along with wii and GC all in one place.
I will update these 2 tomorrow see what happens.

    Thanks

You could use wbfs2fat, it does not delete the wii games you will not lose any games, I use it and I did not lose any games and the wii games and HB stuff all work perfect after and it is very fast wbfs2fatpy. If you use wbfs2fat you will have to check your cluster size, sometimes its FAT32 with 64KB cluster size.

Use Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced to check: right click your disk/change cluster size/current cluster size:
I use Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced to check my hard drive cluster size and it was 64KB so I change it to 32KB and I did not lose any data and it is also very quick. I only recommend Acronis and wbfs2fat because no data loss if you use any other HDD program you will have to back up all data. You could leave it at 64KB if it is for wii games, only change it if you want to use it for GC games also. If you keep it at 64KB then you could change both partition to logical and then change the FAT32 with 32KB cluster to primary 1st plus active and then the other FAT32 with 64KB cluster partition to primary so the FAT32 with 32KB cluster is the 1st partition (USB1) and the other partition is 2nd partition (USB2). If you decide to merge two FAT32 partition together it may take a long time but one FAT32 partition HDD is recommended for the Wii, but is optional.
Also delete the CFG file in GX app after.
It's late over here will check back tomorrow.

hi so i did all that but my problem is still there. Whenever i try playing a Gamecube game on USB Loader GX, it still doesnt start the game. Instead, it still just says the game is on USB already and just asks me to copy it onto SD when i dont want to

heres a screenshot of my problem: http://i.imgur.com/t9ouTUx.png

what should i do? this is preventing me from starting any game

    2lazy2makeaname,
Try from the HBC and update GX to r1209 and update GX channel with USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder_5_1_AHBPROT.wad and when you update GX remove the CFG file in the GX app also.

Crap. I was in the wrong topic before. Can anyone help me with this? (I can't see my own posts yet. So I can't delete the old one. Thanks, moderator?)

Hi! I am having some problems with Dios Mios lite and I was hoping some smart people here could give me the answers that I need. For starters, I am using USB Loader GX (1209) and the 2.8 version of Dios Mios Lite. My games are on a microSD with 8 gigabyte, formatted to FAT32 of course, with clusters of 64.

I did use that tool that comes with Dios Mios for my backups. The size is optimized, but I chose 32 instead of 64. Could that be it? I also didn't remove the mark on that one option I forgot about. The errors I constantly keep getting - with or without a (Wii) disc in the drive - are the infamous 'apploader size is zero' and 'error app_entry is not within the apploader'.

Hopefully you guys can get me on the right track. I added that sysCheck file for reference too, in the spoiler below, but I think everything there is in order. Thanks in advance for any help here!

I think if you have 64k clusters, you should have chosen the 64k option in GMToolbox. Try going back and rerun your .iso files using that option to see if it works.

Also, make sure that you are really running r1209 of GX. If you have it installed in your Apps, but launching GX from a channel, if it's not a forwarder, it will still load up the older intalled version. You can look by going to settings (in GX), last page of options, Credits. It will be shown in the upper-right corner.

Otherwise, you can try the latest CFG or WiiFlow and see if they work for you (latest versions of both are in my signature).

I checked. Thanks. I am running 1209 according to that menu. Was already curious about that, so I tried to enter USB Loader GX without the SD card and it didn't work. So I most likely only have a forwarder. I readded the games with 64 (still optimized, otherwise you can't choose) and this time I didn't skip those xNEEK files, although you only need them in some cases, if I understood correctly. I still get the same error. One note: I do not have my GC controller with me today. (Tomorrow I will.) If that isn't it, I'm still at a loss. Could it be the fact that I made it FAT32 with 64 through Windows Explorer?

This is the tool that we recommend for formatting SD cards: PanasonicSDFormatter.rar Be sure to do a full format, not a quick one (this will take some time, so make a sandwhich or something while it's working )

64k clusters used to be the recommendation for SD cards using DML when it started, but not sure if it still is the case today, as USBs need to be 32k clusters using DM. Since DM got caught up to DML last summer, I've been USB loading instead of SD loading, so I may be out of the loop of what is required. Worst case, you try formatting as 32k clusters on SD using the 32k version of your "game.iso" files (if you saved them, otherwise you'll have to recreate them again) and/or try a different loader to see if that makes a difference.

Fixed it by just using my USB to do it. I thought I couldn't, because all of my Wii games are still WBFS. I just used Partition Master to make a relatively small FAT32 partition before my storage one (NTFS) and the WBFS part at the end. And what do you know? After a disabled screen - I thought I had failed again - the game actually booted. Now I only need to wait for my GC controller. Huzzah.
