Shouldn't take more than 10-15 seconds (in my experience). It is possible your drive just isn't compatible.

Yea, shouldn't take more than 10-15 seconds. Mine usually takes about 5. But when you see the splash screen, do you hear the disc check? You know, like when you put a disc in the wii, you hear the wirrrrr wuurrrrrr.

Strange. Because when my loader's configuration fails me, I don't hear the wirrrrr wuurrrrrr. If it's not too much trouble, do you mind screenshotting your GX settings? If it's too much trouble, I'll still think of other ways to try and help you.

Oh, just take a camera and take a picture of your TV. But, I'd honestly like to start all over, because we might have missed something. It's real late. I won't be here to respond for the next 15 hours.

Just take a picture of your TV, unfortunately I don't think you can screen cap the USB loaders settings menu lol.

Allright that sounds great, as the fiance is watching that horrible housewives show anyways But in the meantime what specific screen should I take a pic of? Also, this may sound noobish, but how should I link the photo?

Probably a stupid noob question, but can you play GC games with the wii remote+nunchuck using this method? I don't exactly have a gc controller handy.

Nope, not with Dios Mios. Eventually with Devolution but right now no GC controller = no GC game play.
