I just downloaded usb gx rev 1198 and it seems to be working great. even let me boot a retail disc from within usb gx. wiiflow and diosmios booter keep messing up. so its safe to say that there is nothing wrong with 2.2, its the loaders that need to befixed / updated. hope wii flow fixes this problem soon, as that is my prefered loader. i guess i will have to use usb gx for now though.

here ill post where to get it with direct link in this spoiler. i think alot of people might be confused just going to the page and trying to find it.

    Spoiler

ignore the fact that it says dml .... it still works with dm

    ***update***

apparently, according this other message board, [ http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?p=395424 ] wiiflow rev 605 is working great with dm 2.2. however i didnt see a download for it on the google code page [ http://code.google.com/p/open-wiiflo...downloads/list ] so can someone enlghten us on whereto find this download (or am i just not paying close enough attention?) anyway ... got togoto bed ... long day with kids in the morning.

Good to know, having the option of running retail games is a must IMO.

Ok, I got it to work. Installed USB Loader GX r1198 and DM 2.2 Update 2 and it now boots properly. Only problem I see is that the R+Z+Start key combination doesn't work anymore for me. Can anyone verify this?

Yes, I had this same problem with that set up.
For some reason it no longer lets you exit through the GC controller, That's why I reverted back.

Correction to the previous post about Wiiflow r605. Wiiflow r607 is available and works with DM 2.2.

    Here: http://www.mediafire.com/?b67rc8c97w1s8j6

jax... the R+Z+Start key combination WORKS in Wiiflow so it's a USB Loader GX issue.

UPDATE: In USB Loader GX enable DML PAD Hook ON and that gets the key combination back.

Yes, exactly. It was never gone in GX just turned off via a loader setting. You just have to enable it if you want it. Supposedly it was defaulted to off because it interfered with some games but I don't know which ones.
And I'm on 2.2 (the latest 7.20.2012 update) with GX r1198. Most things are going well it seems like. Haven't tested retail disc loading recently but I think it's back working again on the latest update... (edit) Went and tested a retail - nope, not working.
And FYI, the Japanese game support doesn't quite have the kinks worked out. If you want to play a JP game and it's not loading right, use dios mios booter and enable ntsc-j patch on and it'll be fine.

DiosMiosLite ran Xmen2... Though not USB, SD. GUN? I don't think any run that right now.

    I got the same problem.

ki69... per SNES_Master, r1198 and DM 2.2. Go into settings in USB Loader GX and set DM to DM2.2+. This got it working for me. Also runs original gamecube games from Disc Channel and USB Loader GX.

I'm sure this is an ultimate newb questions but how do I enable saving? I got super smash bros melee running but it says there is no memory card detected. Do I need an actual gamecube memory card or is there a way to save via USB or SD?
