Have you tried another hard drive? I'm out of ideas.

So I just noticed that DIOS MIOS has been updated to 2.11 and can be downloaded here. Just wondering what your thoughts are of it, if it's worth it to update and should the guide be updated with this updated version. Thanks.

Edit: Also, it looks like the downloads are gone from the link to the google code site and the only place to download DIOS MIOS now is from the link I gave. So at the very least that part of the guide should be updated.

    Thanks. I'll see to it.

    I wonder what's different about DM 2.11.

    EDIT: Found it!

    2.11 (2014-07-02)

    • Added the FatFS link map feature which should greatly decrease load times

    There's the changelog.

Hopefully this will help DM work more than just 50% of the time. My theory for the reason for DM failing to load 50% of the time because it was not "synced" so to speak, with your harddrive. What I mean is that that DM doesn't load for the game. DM Loads and then stops, and then you attempt to put your game through, but the entry time is up. Similarly, the game may not load fast enough, or conversely not slow enough. As if DM wasn't ready for the game or the game wasn't ready when DM was and vice versa. Just a theory from someone who doesn't know a thing about Nintendo hardware or software, but I'll test it out anyway.

Huh, I could've sworn crediar stopped updating Dios Mios. I wonder if the people that took over Nintendont for him have also started work on DM?

If I spelled something wrong, I'll just blame it on auto-correct

I was wrong about the download link to the Google code page not working. Chrome wasn't showing the links on the download page for some reason but they were displayed when I used a different browser.

Thanks for letting us know that it updated. When I get a chance to play with it, I'll try it out and work on updating the guide (unless someone else gets me to it)

You've been keeping my guide up to date since I was gone?

A little. Small things, like the version number, etc.

So I've ran into a brick wall here, I've been trying to get the progressive patch option to work, but depending on the settings I have enabled, I either get a green screen, or a black screen with my TV's source displayed at the top right. I remember the NGC needing those component cables to use the progressive scan feature, do I need that to use the progressive patch as well ? I've been using the standard composites that came with the Wii.

EDIT : The game I've been trying to get to work with it is Paper Mario : TTYD, which I know supports it.

EDIT2 : I also have the latest USB Loader GX revision and the latest Dios Mios.

EDIT3 : Disregard this question, I did more research today and found out that I do indeed need those component cables.
