    New sys check

I really need some help please. I have been trying to get my game cube backups to play off my hdd for about a month now with no success. I have searched everywhere and tried everything but to no avail! My usb drive is 32k cluster size set to primary and active. The games are in the correct folder and labeled correctly. I can see the games on the hard drive with the loaders but when i try to play them I always get the fatal error apploader size is zero. I am at my wits end on this one. Here is my sys check.

    Spoiler

If someone could figure this out for me i will owe you big time. Thanks for your taking a look!

That SysCheck (due to your choice of program) tells nothing. Use the "EDIT" button and use this instead.

Better. If there was concern, your SysCheck looks good - right revs and right bases across the board.

Edit: the only difference is you could use d2x Rev 8 Final (yours are an older, but correct base d2x cIOS).

Ok i updated to d2x Rev 8 Final and i still get the same error. Might you have any other possible explanations? Could it be a hard drive issue? The drive i am using works fine with loading wii games though i erased them off and reformatted the drive just for my gamecube backups. It seems like the wii is trying to boot the game from the wii disc drive instead or the usb because i can hear it make noise. Is this normal? I am on the verge of giving up.

Verify that your FAT32 HDD is using 32KB cluster size or less, this error can happen with FAT32 HDD with 64KB cluster size. You can check your cluster size with the method at the bottom of the guide or with Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced.
Update your USB Loaders and try all USB Loaders from HBC 1st.

I went through all that trouble only to find out my hard drive was incompatible. I used a different hard drive and presto! Wish i had tried that a long tome ago. It is working perfectly now. Thanks so much for the help.

DM/DML 2.10 has been released. Here is the change log:

    Code:
-updated to version 2.10- *Fixed a bug in the pattern detection code (DVDLowReadDiskID)
So I have no idea what this means or if this was a problem that people were having, but if you were having problems with 2.9, try 2.10 out and let us know.

I'll also edit the front post with this information.

What? 2.10 isn't the successor to 2.9! 3.0 is! 2.10 was released ages ago!

The DVDLowReadDiskID is probably a problem that we have been working around this whole time.
