That's fine, but games that don't take up the entire 1.4gig of space on the ISO can be trimmed using either of the three tools mentioned in this thread.

As for a quick tool to read the gameID out of .iso/.wbfs files. I've been looking for the same thing to write a similar script on my mac. I've not had much luck.
I thought people in forums had often mentioned issues with DiscEX and that its been discontinued and the same developer now wrote the DMToolbox to replace it.

Not sure about that, perhaps, but I used to use DiscEX when DML was new and it worked just fine. I took DMToolbox to be a graphical extension of the logic performed by its predecessors.

    Great guide! Thanks very much.

Quick question, is there any way to emulate gamecube memory cards? I don't have any at my Uni house :/

Enable NMM (No More Memory) in your loaders settings.

    Cheers, just found that.
It worked for Mario Kart Double Dash however Super Smash Bros Melee is still claiming there's no memory card... What do I do?

It doesn't work with all games, you'll be better off tracking down a GC memory card. GameStop was selling 16x MadCatz cards not long ago so check them out, if they don't have one try amazon or eBay.

I followed this guide exactly, but both GC games I've tried thus far (Soul Calibur 2 and Wind Waker) have frozen mid-gameplay. I've tried various pairings of USB Loader GX versions and DIOS MIOS versions (namely those listed in the DIOS MIOS compatibility list), but I get the same result every time. WiiFlow gives me the same problems: Soul Calibur always freezes at the character select screen, and Wind Waker randomly froze in the forest above Outset Island. I already know for sure my USB is properly aligned, and I would just use my SD card...if it had enough memory on it. I don't think that the problem is with the ISOs themselves because if I run them in the Dolphin emulator they work fine (though slowly because of my computer). I've already installed the DIOS MIOS wad to ios236, and several USB Loader versions (1198, 1205, 1207) all give me the same issues. Any ideas as to what might be causing the problem?

Look on Amazon for memory cards.

You do not install Dios Mios to cIOS 236. Reinstall it properly and make sure your games are not compressed.
