I got it working with help from a previous thread I happened upon. It appears the issue seems to be with dios mios 2.6 and not the game. I used 2.4 and it works beautifully.

Ah ok, glad you got it sorted out. So the compatibility for 2.6 has lost a few games then? That sucks, but can 2.4 use disc swapping? Maybe try 2.5 as middle ground cause I think 2.5 may have disc swapping as well. That way you won't sacrifice your ability to play games like Tales of Symphonia (awesome game by the way, can't believe I over looked it when GC was a new console) via USB.

^ Disk Swapping was introduced in 2.6, it's not available in any of the older versions.

I stand corrected, I thought it was introduced in 2.5.

    2.5 added the following :

*Fixed a bug in DM that could cause a fatal read error when using devices with
    under 8GB size
*Added a PADHOOK pattern for Batman:Vengeance
    *Added a screenshot feature
This feature can be enabled/disabled via the DM(L) config
Press R+Z on the fourth controller to take a screenshot any time!
Screenshots will be saved to device:/screenshots in the YPbPr format, you can
use my tool to convert them.

Smile Can I play GC games with a new Black Wii (2012) ??

Hi guys, I just wanted to know if there's any possible way that I can play GameCube backup games on a new black Wii from 2012. As you know, it isnt a backwards compatible Wii (Wii with gamecube controller ports at the top). But is there some way that I can play them with a Wii classic pro controller or is there any other known workaround ??

I really appreciate your attention and help folks

    Thanks!

Humm, soldering isn't really my sort of thing :/ And besides, I didn't really wanted to open my console. Isn't there any other solution?

Until Devolution gets support ( and if it does ) for Classic Controllers, no there isn't, soldering in the GC ports would be your only option.

You'll have to wait till tuedj adds Classic Con support to Devolution.
