Yes, NMM (No More Memory) is made to let you play GC games without a physical memory card. So if you have NMM on remove your physical card, if you want to use your physical card then turn NMM off. They do not function simultaneously.

What you could try is to rip the saves off your memory card and convert them from GCI to NMMs format using gci2nmm

Adding to what SNES has said, remember that not every game is compatible with NMM, like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle games ( all three ), they will not work with NMM for whatever reason, had to go buy a new physical card since my old one was full.

The 2.6 version is out.... But can it really swap disk?

I've tried with metal gear solid the "change screen" appears properly but it fails to swap the disk....

Did you put the disc2.iso in the same folder as disc 1? And what are they both named as?

Read the bottom of this page for USB Loader GX 2 disc swapping.

    1. Install disc 1 with DMToolbox 0.3 or higher. You should have a folder with a file named game.iso
    2. Install disc 2 with DMToolbox 0.3 or higher. You should have a folder with a file named disc2.iso
    3. Copy the disc2.iso file and paste it in the disc 1 folder. You should have something similar to this:

    Attachment 4254

    4. GX will load disc 1 by default and automatically load disc 2 when prompted.

    Hope this little guide works!

(Sorry the picture is so small. If someone can tell me how to make it bigger, I'll do so right away).

So I've recently installed DIOS MIOS and I've been able to run games flawlessly. Completed Tales of Symphonia with no issue. Four Swords Adventures, no issue. However with Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles the game freezes with a loud noise during the magic fusion tutorial. My brother played NFL Street 2 and the same thing happened. I doubt it's an issue with the iso as I ripped the disc to my harddrive directly from my collection and the exact same issue happened with 2 different games. Both games are compatible according to the compatibility list.

Could it be an issue with harddrive incompatibility? I've had absolutely no issues with it when I played any Wii backups. I'm running the latest version of USBLoader GX and presumably dios mios 2.6 since it allows disc swapping.

If your other GC games are working it's not the drive. Most likely bad rips, sometimes they will not be quite right even if the rip goes 100% and you use an original disc. If you're sure they're compatible than I suggest re-ripping and if they still don't work you may want to try Devolution as a backup GC USB loader (guide for Devolution is linked in my sig)
