I find that every time that there isn't the BGM playing in Config USB Loader it tends to freeze when i'm trying to boot the wii game :/

    Same here.

I recently softmodded using "Softmod/Hack ANY Wii v12 7/24/2012" and it's working fine.
However I would like to use NTFS on my HDD and this guide tells me to change the config.txt file:
    ntfs_write = 1
    fat_split_size = 0

    All I see is:
    SD:\apps\USBLoader\
    boot.dol
    icon.png

Can I create a config.txt and only add the suggested lines??

that's because it is located in sd:/usbloader/ or sd:/usb-loader/

The root of my SD card shows:

    sd:/
    apps (folder)
    usb-loader (folder)
    wiiflow (folder)

    sd:/usb-loader/
    covers (folder)
    playstats.txt
    titles.txt

    Still no config.txt

I created the config.txt file and put it inside sd:/usb-loader/ folder.
Works great with my ntfs formatted disk.

I didn't need to make the ntfs partition "active", it works fine without so far.

Sorry for the double post (was advised to post in appropriate forum).

I softmodded my wii using mauifrog's softmod any wii guide and
    have recently discovered a problem.

I have everything residing on the hdd, including cfg. I did this because my 6 year old would most likely remove the sd card and lose it.

If I try to launch cfg while I have the skylanders usb receiver plugged into the second usb port, cfg doesn't launch and returns to the system menu. Remove the usb receiver and cfg launches, I can then start the game and plug the receiver in when requested.

If I launch cfg from hbc with the usb receiver plugged in it works no problem.

Could this be something to do with the forwarder. Could the forwarder be looking to the other usb port for the loader (because there is something plugged in) and when it doesn't find it simply drops back to the system menu?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Exchange the Portal and HDD's ports. May work, not sure though.

What happened between when it was working and when it stopped? Post a syscheck so we can see what going on inside your machine.

    Hi
I am having a couple of minor difficulties with the loader. I hope someone can help.
First of all I cannot get the setting to save. Every time I load the app I have to change the view and style. It doesn't save it for the next time. I am sure I am missing some sort of "settings" folder on my sd card. Why woukld it not keep the style for next time?
The other thing is that I do not have a config file on the sd card either. I really wanted to put all my saves and covers on the HDD formatted to FAT32 for this purpose. The other partition is formatted to WBFS where I keep my backups. I cannot change it from SD to USB in the settings as it is greyed out. Would someone be kind enough to tell me how to creat a config. file and what to put in it please.

    Thanks very much.

Sorry. I will answer my own question and re-download the app in your guide and see if that helps first.
