    Post psp 2000 usb charge hack?

    my sister just found a beat up psp 2000 near an abandoned library & i fixed it up to play umd's & the battery was really low & died she did'nt have the charger so i pluged it into the computer but would'nt charge. i read you need to go to setting & let it charge thrue there but it's dead. i hear there's a hack so it could charge thrue usb if so how?

    I think there is a USB wire you can buy that will do that. One end plugs into the psp and the other end plugs into your computer. Don't know about a hack.

    yeah i have a bunch of the usb chords. but it wont charge unless you go to usb charge settings on the psp but it's dead completly & wont turn on & i heard theres some sort of wire hack

    you need to mod the psp to have custom firmware on it.

    Then when youve done that turn ont he psp and hold the left and right triggers and the recovery menu should pop up. in the configuration of that you can set it to charge via usb.

    i was looking into sum stuff & theres a wway to put AAA batreries in the battery pack how is this Done

    Try google "AAA batteries PSP" loads of hits.

    You'd be better off mind you just buying a charger from ebay. Only cheap and stops you having to take apart the PSP and possibly breaking it. You did get it for free so paying a bit for a charger is not much.

    Go in to psp menu then to usb settings an there should be a thing saing charging wille connected or some thing like that you put it on and plug it in to your pc it should work it works for me!!!!!

    Lets recap guys. The PSP is completely dead, as in it will NOT turn on. So this person can't do anything in the XMB. As for USB Charge hack? No. USB Charge Mod? Ofcourse. You need custom firmware though, so that throws that out the window. I suggest buying a charger for the PSP, a wall charger. It'll save you the time and hassle.
