EDIT: Like Wii, does PS3 run both PAL and NTSC Games?

I use both multiman and gaia manager, i prefer multiman though it has way more features, and to be honest im not sure about pal and ntsc compatability, my PS3 is PAL and all my games are PAL

for multiman use the package without the WT on the end of its name if your using KMEAW cfw

for Gaia manager use the package with "games" on the end of the name this way Gaia manager and multiman both use game backups from the /GAMES directory

I deleted the Multiman pkg I install to re install the one
you said and also installed Gaia Manager. I can't access
the permissions on GTA IV. But Gaia didn't show the GTA
IV game backup. So I backed up COD: World
of War with Gaia and noticed the game install in a game
folder not games like in Multiman. I launched COD: World
of War in Gaia with GTA IV in the drive and COD: World
of War showed up in XMB. But when the game is launched
I get a black screen. Those are the only 2 games I have so
    I can't try different games.

    Hi Mitch...

I Installed both GAIA Manager and multiMAN, I have some question though:

    1. GAIA is very simple, easy to use, but... everytime I launch the game (Fight Night Champion) GAIA back to XMB. Then I should launch it from XMB.
    Should it be like that?

    2. multiMAN has nice cover mode, with multiMAN I can launch the game directly. But... everytime I change cover mode [L1], it always downloads cover.
    Is there something wrong?

yeah Gaia is much simpler to use and yes it should take you back to xmb to launch games from disc channel, multiman you can direct launch but its hit and miss i have edited multimans default_options.ini to disable direct launch so it always take you back to xmb as well without asking, also i have disabled automatic cover download so it doesnt always download covers (its a bug i assume, that it keeps downloading the same covers all the time)

to edit multimans options look in the zip/rar of the multiman you downloaded and put the default_options.ini on the root of a flash drive (fat32) open it with notepad and edit the settings to how you want, then load multimanand insert flash drive into ps3 and multiman will detect it and use those settings (then you can remove flash drive and restart multiman)

    Yesterday, multiMAN run without problem.

Today, when I launched multiMAN there was a message:
"Multiman Cannot Enable BD-ROM emulator. Functionality may be limited"
Now none of my games will launch. I click on the backup in multiMAN then exit to the XMB, but...
the game I launched doesn't appear in the XMB, only the game disc I have inserted.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still no luck.
I tried GAIA Manager and it works, so I dont know what happened to multiMAN

    Any help would be appreciated!

ctantra- try installing the BDEMU-355KM package if you're on 3.55KM firmware like I assume. They made that a separate install due to legal issues. Not sure why your's "stopped" though.

    Thank you very much...
I downloaded and installed BDEMU-355KM.pkg. The problem's completely gone for now...
Looks weird though, at first install multiMAN 1.16.03 was running without the problem for 1 day.

I installed Kmeaw, MM 04.03.03 and Gaia 2.07. used an ftp program to connect to the ps3 via "ftpserver_12"

and have loaded in the MultiMAN GENESIS Pack which works great.

ive downloaded The Testament of Sherlock Holmes and Monkey Island Special Edition Collection and put the files in the GAMEZ folder and have even Monkey.Island.Special.Edition.Collection.EBOOT.PAT CH.100.EUR.PS3 and have put them files in the relative files in the USRDIR folder.

but neither work, they show in Gaia and launch which takes you to the XMB and shows in the */app_home/PS3_GAME_ but it asks me to update so i cant play the game.

am i using games which need a disc in the drive as my drive is broken and am waiting for a replacement to turn up

are there any non disc game i could try for now?

    thanks in advance
