trying to hack ps3 with itouch

so i have an itouch 2g 4.0 mc model. im tying to hack the ps3 with it like i saw on youtube. but the only problem is i need to downgrade it to 3.1.3 or 3.1.2. it wont work when i go to itunes and put it in recovery and do all that stuff. please help me downgrade the ipod. and also explain what to put on it so i can plug it into the ps3 and hack it with the file on the ipod

you can only hack the ps3 with a 1st gen ipod touch or a 2nd or 3rd gen IPHONE since you have a iPod touch 2g than you can't hack your ps3 however there are many usb boards that are pretty cheap like $30 plus shipping that will help just PM if you have anymore questions
