PS3 unknown update loop

I have a slim ps3 with a problem with the corrupted data (8002F157) on a CHEC-2503b console

unknown history with this console

tried updating to 3.56 v1 and v2, even 4.21 and even the official fw 4.30, all loads but returns a "Data is corrupt" error and the above number. and then back to the update screen with "3.56 or later"

any ideas please

Sounds like you have the 3.56v1 bug. If you don't have the original hdd. Or have formatted your hdd, you will need a hardware flasher to fix it.

im trying to get an E3 flasher, but hard to find one, modchip has them but no credit card service atm, oz3ds has them in stock but to be honest it look like a fake site, far to many in stock to be realistic, cant seem to find a UK branch. i believe i will also need a downgrade dongle, maybe the E3 card reader?
