is it possible to program my own usb stick with the jail break software/firmware or do i have to buy one. thanks

u have to buy 1 its not a usb stick as such

If you are referring to the hardware mod-chip like USBs then no I don't think you can at this point. You have to buy the mod chips or you can manually software mod.
