is there a ps2 mp3 player?
I was wondering if i can launch mp3's from a external flash drive and play them on the ps2? Is there any homebrew or disc that will allow me to do this?

I know this post is old, but yes you can the sms player to playback mp3 or .avi files from a usb device.
just check out sksapps.com for the sms player 2.9 rev 4
