I am not that smart... T. T
I had an older wii softmodded with a different hard drive. I just transfered the games using wbfs manager from one hard drive to another.
I read the guide few times, but i am confuse, I am totally new to this
1.What format should use for my SD CARD, is quick format needed to be checked?
Answer: 1-2gb of SD must be formatted in FAT
2.On chapter 1, PART 1 If i use indiana jone , should there be a link of SAVE DATA for that game?
Answer: I Use the smash brawl hack, can't help you with this..
3.On Chapter 1, PART 2, After i installed Bootmii, then Prepare the SD-card <---What is this mean? Remove the SDcard? and reformat it? What data should I put into it?
Answer: Yes, your on the Chapter 2 now.. Download what region your in extract it on your SD Card, Download the CIOS Pack, Extract it also and click yes to overwrite.. etc.. just follow the guide...
4.On Chapter 1, PART3, Do i have to exit the installer and load Homebrew channel? If i have internet connection available, should i connect it then it can automatic Make A NAND Backup? Is MMM-xyzzy_CB2.zip needed ( I am confuse btw PART2 and PART3)
Answer: the NAND is not automatic, you must perform it by your self by launching the bootmii, you will see a 4 icons there where the last icon is the settings, the wiimote will not work that's why it stated right there to press Power, Power, Power, Reset, Reset on your console. Power=Right (just like in the controlpad pressing right) Reset=Select (just like pressing A button)
5.Is Make A NAND Backup an option(show on the screen) by "Load HBC, press -HOME-, launch Bootmii"
Answer: Making a NAND is Up to you, is you mess up your console or in near future by installing injected WAD or etc. that you didn't know that might brick your console, NAND is your Friend in recovering your console..
6. Have 350 free blocks of nand space? What is this mean?
Answer: On your Wii's data management Save Data or Channels you'll see in the bottom left "Block Open: xxxx" you must at least have 350 blocks open..
7. Before Chapter2, Do i have to reboot my wii after installed Homebrew Channel and bootmii.
Answer: if you already prepared the necessary files in chapter 2 to continue insert your SD Card first and run the Homebrew Channel and start the bootmii by pressing home and launch the bootmii..
PLEASE HELP Me with these questions, and i hope these can help others too.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Once again thank you for your help and such a great guide, like i said all went perfect except the disk channel not working on the one mentiond.
what's the whole story ?
I have repeated the steps more than once. But still run into the problems of loading certain games. The older games like super mario galaxy, super paper mario loads fine. However, when i attempt to load the relatively newer games such as no more heroes 2, trauma team. All i am getting is a black screen. I suspect its something to do with stubbed IOS. But my suspicision is likely to be wrong. What should I do?
How do you know you have a stubbed IOS? Maybe it is user error instead... Are you certain you have a good dump of your game? You tried re-ripping it from the original disc? What cIOS are you loading the game with? Maybe a little more info on your part is needed if you want to get some help here, just a suggestion...
Thank you so much!!
Load priiloader and disable all hacks except update blocks. Can you enter the wii settings!Quote:
