Nice job everyone...
Made all in less than 1H with Lego Batman.
All worked fine.
To everybody who have problems... Just follow the guide step by step!
Thanks once again mauifrog.
- I have a 4.2E Wii already softmodded, but i have issues with ripping games, so i thought this would cure my problem. Do you recommend to follow this guide (and then this issue would disappear)?
- My friend has a 4.3E, softmodded. Is it safe to re-softmod his Wii as well?
Is the issue ripping only, or playing? What are you using to rip the games --- certain revisions/betas of USB Loader GX had buggy ripping code. Have you tried USB Loader GX 2.0? Without knowing what you've done, it'd be difficult to say. We always recommend following a wiihacks guide. It shouldn't hurt to overwrite your softmod by this guide if that's really your question.
I'm using USB loader GX 2. Actually i ripped the Lego Indiana, but when i start it from backup just black screen i got.
The other part of my question was if it's safe to overwrite the previous softmod (which was done by following the "Full hacking guide for 4.2 system menus!!!! by messie").
Do i need to follow all the steps, or i can skip the HBC installation (chapter 1, part 1), as i alredy have it installed...
The other doubt i have is SM 4.1 vs 4.2! My Wii is on 4.2, but 4.1 is mentioned (chapter2, part 1) here. What's needed to be done at that step? Shell i skip it, or it's safe to performe that step as well?
Thanks for the help!
hi guys please help... how to reinstall bootmii. i have now homebrew channel but no bootmi.... coz i accidentally reinstall it... help. im stuck!
mauifrog, i've a quick question: can i use the Lego-BATMAN-usa game disc to softmod my 4.3J console ? i'm in puzzle and afraid of being semi-bricked if i go for it.
there's no way i could find a Lego-BATMAN-jpn disc, so far. People said that there's no jpn version ever released. if that's true, how come there's an exploit save of jpn version ?
thx for advice.
Yup as long as it's compatible. Look in the FAT32 Guide in my signature, it has more detailed info along with links to compatibility lists and everything you need.
