i got mine from Game
the yu-gi-oh game should tel you in the guide have a look there
did you post a request in the link i gave you?
Yes you can just install new cIOS over old cIOS without issue. I'm still not quite sure what the issue was if it wasn't cIOS249 but I'm glad you got it resolved.
YU-GI-OH 5D Wheelie Breaker game
"Unfortunatly, there is no workable exploit for virgin 4.3k wiis at this time." .. So if i just bought a red wii with 3.4 This guide won't work? This statement contradicts the first statement "work's on all wiis" .. so I just had to ask before I buy a shitty game :)
If I ever want to install new wads (cIOS) in the future, where should I place them in my SD card? I softmodded a friends wii using a different guide and there was a wad folder, sort of like what comes in your ModPack-AnyWii file. I followed your guide and everything works great, but why did we format the SD card and clear all of the wad files from the SD card? They are all now technically saved on my wii?
So back to my original question, if I need to install a new wad (cIOS) should I just make a wad folder for my SD card, save it there, they install it using WAD Manger? Thanks!
Got a red WII and reading through all these threads to get ready... If/when I softmod'd the unit, will it be able to play original DVD games that I have from DVD player. I understand backup games should be stored on the HDD. But if a friend brings over a game, will we able to play the game as is.
Yes, if your Wii is already 4.3, the any games released recently will play. It's the games that havent been released yet that will give you problems, because at some point there will be a Nintendo update that will install newer versions of the IOSs. You will need to update the IOSs at that point to play retail discs that have the new update. I played the new michael jackson game on a 4.1 (downgraded from 4.3) softmodded wii from a retail disc.
If you ever come across a retail game that will not play from the disc channel, then install it to the usb drive. You could also try booting the retail disc with the usb loader or Neogamma.
Sorry and thanks man :)!
Didn't notice the "K"
.. time to continue to search for sucky games! ;)
