ughhh I tried this 3 times, re-read. redownloaded, the full deal. the part where im supposed to load rvlshopping, ios, and mudpack. after the 30 are supposed to install it reads:
1 error ocured...
error inalling cIOs11v6174-TED.wad::
(-1022) Contentdid not match hash in TMD.
Press any key to continue.
What could this be? I formatted, check-summed all three md5's. Took the SD out "safely remove device"....Please help!
edited to say: After that post I tried to install that was single by itself. Same mssage except after the message it also says : Try with AHBPROI (or PROT, cant tell between T and I). Hopefully that gives u more clue. AHBPROI is as understandable as "tgtheetsghrts" to me!
I updated my softmoded Wii and after I was done I noticed that my WAD manager was gone. What did I do wrong?
Edit: Also my homebrew browser keeps saying error 6 over and over.
Edit 2: Nevermind. I just redownloaded the WAD manager. But now when I try to load homebrew browser I get "Exception (DSI) occurred!
Hi! I'm new here, just followed the guide and successfully (I think) soft-modded my very old wii. Thanks for the great guide!
- Can I move the apps off the SD card, and into the USB disk, so that I don't need the SD card to be permanently inserted?
- When I select "Return to menu" from within my game, the console seems to hang. Power light is on, but all the buttons are unresponsive. The wiimote lights also blink when I press any key. I need to press + hold the power button on the console for a few seconds before it turns off, and I turn it on again. What might be the problem?
The ModPack.zip, IOSUpdate.zip and other .zip file in Chapter 2 don't work. :/ MediaFire doesn't ask me for a password, it just shows me a zipped file, with no button to download it.
Try erasing your browser's cache. If that doesn't work try another browser.
This is really annoying me, now; can anyone just download them and put them up on DropBox or something? Media-fire really is a horrible site. There are no download-links I've found that are valid anymore, except these ones, and they don't work. :(
I might add that it is only the media-fire links that require a password which fuck up; the normal ones work fine, they allow me to download. Just the ones which require the www.wiihacks.com password to be typed in aren't working (there's no "type in the password" prompt).
