initially, FAT32 format the flash drive ; then, format it to wbfs with the use of Wii-Backup-Manager.
transfer the game iso into the flash drive, you'll be 1000000% compatible with all of them-- NeoGamma, CFG, gx, wiiflow,...whatever !
What does WIT: Error #31 means ? I get that when I am trying to copy my backup of Zelda: Skyward Sword, it says that theres not enough space but I still have 12 gb on my flash drive (bought a 32gb HP flash drive, it works perfectly with wii and its compatible, so thats not a problem anymore).
Hi Guys, I have read and read and read but cannot find an answer to my problem, can you help.
I have modded my wii following the superb guide but cannot install priiloader.
I have changed my system menu from 4.3e to 4.1e as recommended but when i try priiloader i get the message saying 'priiloader not found'
I know its there on my sd card, it all passed the MD5 check, i have manually put the files on the card twice yet it still will not load.
Any ideas please?
If for some reason you installed Priiloader first and then downgraded to 4.1, that would remove it (it's tied to the System Menu). Should that be the case, simply re-install it. If you're doing it correctly, it installs to the NAND (the Wii's memory) and would not be SD card-dependent.
I am trying to mod a friend's Wii. It's running system menu 3.1E so I suspect it's never been updated. I've been following this guide carefully - including the specific instructions for SM 3.1 - however when I used MMM to install the WADs none of them installed and I got a -2011 error which I think means my cIOS isn't vulnerable to the trucha bug. I got MMM to load into IOS36 and was then able to install all the WADs, IOS updates and shopping channel. I'm now stuck because i can't install Priiloader v0.7 from Homebrew channel. I get error -1029 "cIOS236 isn't identity patched".
Any help appreciated.
Try pressing "B" (the underside trigger of the wiimote) and see if it installs. It's been awhile, but last I knew that would install it via cIOS 249 rather than the IOS mentioned. Also, you are giving conflicting information. Your other thread has differing information than presented here (namely, that you're at 4.1 System Menu now).
