MMM ---> Multi-Mod-Manager_v13.4.rar Extract it to your sd card..
Download the IOS Pack and extract the WADS to the wad folder on the SD Card -- >Load MMM through the HBC and select "Load Another IOS" Select 249 ---> Scroll back up to wad manager and batch install the IOS pack..
Make sure you have downloaded the APP pack at the end of the guide and put it on your SD CD. That is probably why its kicking you back to the wii menu.. The CFG forwarder is searching for the app on the sd card and its not there..
I used this guide to update my old softmod. Everything worked except the shopping channel, which kept failing on step 6 of 18.
I reloaded ios236 and kept trying, but it always failed at the same point.
Is there a newer, or different version of the shopping channel wad I should try?
Well, the install wasn't as successful as I thought. In upgrading my softmod with this guide, every wad installed successfully except for the latest shopping channel, which is minor.
However, when I boot my Wii now, it immediately says my Wii System Memory is full. I had over 800 blocks free before starting this guide, and deleting items isn't helping. It still says 0 blocks free.
Edit: Deleting a few things didn't help, but with Google I just discovered there is an overflow. I kept deleting more, and now I have free blocks. That may also be while the shopping channel failed to install. But this guide said you needed 350 free blocks. I'm not sure how it filled over 800.
Ok, first off, this is an EXCELLENT guide. I'm going to start working through it all and update my Wii. I have a 4.1U. I softmodded it in 2009, and it's time for an update. My old SD card also happens to be blank, so I need all these files on there again.
After I do all this, is there a Gamecube Backup Launcher installed as well? If not, which guide on here do I need (after following this one) in order to play Gamecube backup games on my Wii???
Ahh ok. Thanks for the reply though! And because I already have the homebrew channel installed, should I skip Chapter 1 of your guide and only do 2 and 3? Or should I do EVERYTHING?
Hi, am really hoping you can help!! My kids are upset with me. I updated USB Loader (automatically via WIFI) update completed, files installed, USB Loader then came up with message 'restarting', then screen went black, I left it for 10 mins, still blank screen, USB HDD did not shut down and restart so I rebooted Wii, tried to launch USB Loader, it thinks about it then takes me back to the Wii menu. What to do to solve the problenm Tanks!
