Am I the only one who posts in this thread anymore lol.
@bmarlo lol it seems that we are the only ones posting here...
I took a break for a while and decided to make a signature today. I used another transformer lol :D
I tried to blend the C4Ds into the background like you told me to, bmarlo, but have i done it properly?
As usual, any feedback would be appreciated :)
P.S. By the way, whenever i post on this thread (from my PC, for once) i have to agree to the forum rules. I've done this at least 3 times now. Any help?
Okay. You've improved yet again isoguy, well done. But you misunderstood me. I didn't want you to blend the c4d's in to the background,
I wanted you to blend the render/focal (Transformer) into the background a bit more. You do this by getting a soft brush at about 17px,
and setting the flow to about 4, and then gently erasing the edges of the render slightly so it blends in to the background.
This does take some practice, so don't expect to get it right first go. The positioning of the render is good, but I feel you've cut the head off
a bit, so maybe lower it slightly next time. I like the effect you have behind the render but the right of the tag seems a bit plain.
I go back to my advice previously, in that I would like to see you use some stock backgrounds. Whether it be of a city at night, or the desert at
sunset, or a dark alleyway.
So, all in all mate, you've definitely improved again, which means you've improved everytime now lol. Keep it up, and I look forward to more from you.
as bmarlo said the render is to high bring it down a bit and move it to the right a touch get a c4d or fractel infront of the render to add extra debth and get a soft brush set to soft light and use the colour white to make a light source and lower the opicity a touch so its not to bright, then you will want to use the tools to brighten parts of the focal to match the light source and darken some parts away from it.. then a gradient map set to softlight on top of everything will make it look clean
keep up the good work
