i assumed you guys new things i don't. i should learn not to do that i guess. i actually have games; wii, n64, snes installed on my wii as channels via the homebrew and wad manager. i then go to Data Management/Channels, and copy them to the sd. they can then be erased from the wii and copied back just as easily. it's like having your 2GB SD as a cartridge full of games. i currently have 19 game channels on my sd ready to go with 10291 blocks open. yes, i know the wii has very limited memory, but it only uses a couple hundred 'blocks' of memory per game. someone out there knows how to convert games to .wad and that does not use 4.7GB. anyway, i appreciate your attempt at help. i'll be sure to click your thanks.

3) The wii only has 512mb of memory so its IMPOSSIBLE to copy the channel over.
So basically that's why it won't work :)
(and I don't really understand why you want to install it anyway, changing discs isn't that arduous and that's why you make backups - to protect your original disks from being scratched.)
