How do I partition my drive?
The last time I tried to partition my system, my old system(Dell Dimension 8200) I formatted one partition without editing the Master Boot Record to update it of these changes. I think thats what I did wrong although I am not entirely sure of it. :023:
You see the problems didn't start untill after I decided to install Open Suse over Ubuntu, which I did before updating the boot record of the intended changes I wanted to make.
^I'm assuming, but its the only logical conclusion I have come up with thus far.
Windows 7, is an incredibly bloated OS, I Stopped all the Services down to barely enough to supply me with sound, and Graphics Adaptor support, and the silly thing still took 500mb of RAM where is RAM going?
Its rediculous.
And people say that its less bloated than Windows Vista.
I know you can turn off processes in msconfig, or better option services.msi, but there are so many!
How am I possibly suppose to know what each and every one of them does? I cant/wont google information about 50 services, its riduculous for microsoft to place that burdon on would-be gamers. Its like Microsoft setting you an homework Assignment, just so you can game. :023:
So I physically opened up my (New)computer, and I seem to only have one slot for another Physical disc drive, because I dont really want to screw around with partions, in case, you know, microsoft has installed some boobytrapware in case you try and defect to running anything other OS other than the lastest version of the windows OS. But I can'y find anything to physically screw in another hard disc in the Case. There's an extra SATA, and power cable, but thats it. :023:
Micro-XP would be ideal for this game:
Alpine Ski Racing (PC DVD): Amazon.co.uk: PC & Video Games
The Software says it needs XP support anyway, and according to a quick Google search VMware based, XP mode is just a scam and con.
I know there are wii base Ski games, but I want something a little more Serious, for my ski games.
