I'm not so sure. I mean, with all the fixes that Nintendo keeps on releasing with their System Updates, the general public won't be so quick to hack their Wiis. Not only that, but Wiis are still hard to come by, at least in the USA. Nintendo has such high sales for the Wii that it would be foolish for them to wait for the next system.
Of course, that's just my opinion.
i dont think
there is going to be a new kind of wii it's seems like all rumors weres the proof

once you get into the more digital field it will be like Software, just a matter of time till someone hacks it, and finds a way to do it.
the wii however, wont become anything better, they went to Casual games, over the others, which in the us are basically for FPS... *in japan the xbox is for F games =P since kids post here i wont say more* and the PS3 is for glorified titles that were opted for the 3 to increase sales, because the ps2 is still strong, and still getting titles in Japan.
i dont think nintendo will make a new system, esp when a Xbox 360 is 200 usd, theres no reason to even consider it for another 2 -3 years
nintendo power has confirmed a zelda game is in the works.
Miyamoto mentioned something about a new zelda plan a year or so ago. The problem with this though, is that we never know when it'll be released.
Look at Nintendo's history with Zelda games, when they revealed information on OoT, they kept setting the release date back further until over a year past the original date, or more.
When they revealed Wind Waker it had a release date for the next year. Same with Twilight Princess.
All I'm saying is, I wouldn't hold my breath for a release date until they actually announce it.
Id love another Zelda game for the wii. The whole Zelda series is one of my favorite games of all time for any system!
all this talking about twilight princess, I went and bought the wii edition just to play it again.( i had it on gamecube originally.)
I would have to disagree on the hacks ect making them loose sales, I only bought a Wii for Zelda and that was it I bought also retail copy of mario galaxy as it was in a closing down sale at just £25 but I cant justify paying a hefty 40 pounds = around 70 dollars for a game I'd rather wait a couple of years till buying it, nintendo shoot themselves in the foot not releasing enough top quality games for us adults, name me 10 top games adults would like how many years did you see mario N64 advertisied and nothing new made as epic apart from the zelda games they seem to hold onto 3-4 top titles and hope everyone else dont notice them not making anything new or half decent untill the next generation of nintendo console .......!!!!!
Long live PC gaming its cheap and you can upgrade 8)
P.S but now my WII is a multiregion dvd player I use it allot 8)
