The Wii sees the drives fine Billy. Everything BUT loading the ISOs works. It sees the Isos and then when I try to launch them it goes black. Did you read the entire thread?
Also: I will try fat32 but I am not sure that will solve the problem. I couldnt even get it to see fat32 drives before. Lets see what happens.
Followed the guides for Fat32. Sees the drives. Does NOT see the 2 games loaded in .wbfs format.

I also use my ISO files along with WBFS manager, GX partioned drive, Or Wii manager to make WBFS files on a FAT32 drive, I think you are a little mixed up. ??????? MY Wiis all 50 or so 3.1 4.3 never have problems, I correct myself. There are known games that are disc only, And other specials. 90% are straight forward rip and play.
did you make the wbfs files with discription?

this is wat it looks like on my fat32 hard drive HDD/wbfs/SVMP01_super_mario_collection/SVMP01.wbfs
The guide said the way I did it should work but
How do I know what to name the folders I am supposed to put them in then?
i used wiigame manager and when you find the iso you create it with subdirectory if the game is bigger than 4gb then split it coz fat32 has a 4gb size limit
Well I run Mac, I have a windows side, but its choked for space with FFXI installed :P
I use Wii Backup Fusion, it seems to work pretty well but I dunno. I will see what happens when I get back around to poking at the wii. I will let everyone know what happens. Thanks for all the help! Updates to follow.
I have a WB My Book Essential 1 TB....it has about the same problem...
I partitioned the hard drive to mostly WBFS and a small part for FAT32.
Took 15 hours to transfer all my games onto it from my old hard drive to find out that once i click on my USB Loader Channel, it goes black
and after about 3 minutes to goes to USB Loader and says to plug in a Hard Drive.
I got the hard drive working though....
Instead of using my R932.wad (USB Loaer Forward Channel).
I went into homebrew and am using an app for USB Loader, which i think it's called rev 874 (i believe) at lease there's one of the read me files that's called rev
When you load the appp, don't push any buttons (your controller light will go off, oh well it will turn back on or push a button once usb loader loads)
I tryed one game, and it works perfectly, just have to go into homebrew instead of clicking on a channel (which sucks).
How do I have my hardware setup?
I have the hard drive plugged into the right USB Port(if looking at the back of the unit)
My hard drive has only ONE partition, it's all WBFS(no fat32), which i'm sure fat32 would be fine if it was included, but that would take space away from your data base for saving games.
I have a 2 GB SD card Formated as FAT in the SD Slot.
verison is 4.2 and 4.3
Couple of ideas.....
Have you got ios58 installed although it sounds like a hdd issue here.
Have you set the wbfs partition as active and primary.
