Yep and try both decide for your self :)
you can use wad manager 1.5 but use ios36 or install cios rev17 into slot 245 and use it to install wads ....
so in wad manager instead of 249 you would chose to use ios245
with 1.7 you can use cios with base other then 38
You might have a read at Stomp's post above once again. His results (though differing from mine) says you need IOS 202, that it won't work with just IOS 58 (in my case it did). I don't recall installing IOS 202 though, and MPlayer CE worked for me before installing IOS 58. I need to run a SysCheck myself it would seem, lol.
if he has hbc 1.0.8 it will work with ios58 as all hbc apps run from it would run on ios58

Nope, 1.0.5 (at the time when MPlayer CE worked and prior to IOS 58). Of course now I have 1.0.8 and IOS 58, but I speak of previous to that. Pretty much what I mentioned in the "Getting With the Times" post I made in the mod forum.
wanted to check so cios202 was only for usb2/dvd support not needed to run the app...:D
Neither was IOS 53. MPlayer V.76 ran without IOS 202, IOS 53, and HBC 1.0.8 lol.
Here is my syscheck report. Please let me know where I should go from here. I have now updated Homebrew Channel. thanks
