I think you should explain what you did to end up with a black screen, seemed like your wii was working well a few posts ago.

I see, well I will have to assume that you updated your system ios70 to the latest and greatest stubbed version 6912- with is the non functional mothballed version.
Don't do that with your next wii.
You could send it out for nand reprogramming if the warranty will not fix it.
