There is no point having 2 Euro serial lists, it would just add confusion.
Will do :) appreciate the mod support.
Bad_Ad84, do you mean the serial number lablel is changeable ?
btw, how could the serial embedded in the motherboard memory be changed ?
I mean someone could put a newer motherboard that supports bootmii only as an IOS into an older case.
To change the serial in the Wii, you just need the settingeditor thats posted in the nand formatter thread (think its on page 7-9)
then just need setting replacer fix (its called something like that) to transfer your new setting.txt to the Wii.
Serial number changed.
Oh~~ that's amazing ! i didn't think of the setting.txt :)
yes, it's in #79 of your NAND Formatter post.
thank you, Bad_Ad84.
However what I am still working on and maybe we can do something on the forum too is console ID / Serial number vs NAND encryption key.
I am still looking into finding out of there is any relation between those and so I am still collecting nand dumps of non bootmii boot2 compatible wiis. Both as a service for unbricking and out of curiosity :)
i got a Jpn-Wii of bootmii boot2 compatibile sitting idle. ( foolish me, forgot to boot2 it and bricked by mistake.) someday, i would send it over for your service. (charged service, perhaps. :) )
Do you have a nand backup?
What a stupid question by myself :D if it is boot2 compatible then off course you don't need nand backup. Guess it is time to go to bed for me ;)
