All right, riddle me this. The beginning of this thread says that the PC software for making backups can split up a game larger than 4GB to work on FAT32 if necessary. Do the Wii Backup Loaders available also know how to do this? What if I try to use the Wii to back up a game like Metroid Prime Trilogy - will the loaders know how to split the file up or will they encounter some kind of error?
I've formatted my drive to FAT32, can i just drag the .iso 's too my hdd, plug it in then run the USB launcher GX channel?
I need help please.

USB Loader GX 938
I'm using a brand new portable Toshiba 640GB USB HD.
I loaded USB Loader GX and it said I need to format or select a partition. The new USB HD came formatted as FAT32 so I just selected that.
I have ripped two of my games, Mario Kart Wii and SSBB, they ripped just fine. However, they won't load. I get a black screen, actually it's black and it's got some green lines, and I get the error "wbfs error: bad magic", and it freezes.
Why does this happen, how do I fix it?
So are you saying that you didn't format following this guide?
Type this in google "wbfs error: bad magic, might tell you something.
Sorry, I guess I got confused because of the 'New USB Hard Drive -- Ready to go!'
I'll try the formatting now...
