I found these two IOS files that involve USB...the rest didn't seem related.
- IOS 57 (v5661): Used by some USB peripherals.
- IOS 222 (r5, v65535): Custom IOS developed by Hermes. Facilitates recognition of USB peripheral devices in the 2nd port while loading backups from the first.
In my IOS report there is no IOS 57 listed, which I assume means I don't have it. Would I use waninkoko's cios57 r19 to install it?? ..that's the best I could come up with after a search for IOS 57 (v5661) on here..I don't want to have to trust an external site if I don't have to.
and IOS 222 does appear in my report, but not the same version...mine says
- IOS222 (rev 4),No,Enabled,Enabled,Disabled,Enabled,Disabled,En abled
Again, I assume this means I have the file, but not the newest one.. however, after a search I'm still not sure where to find the file I need..any ideas??
...Does anyone know of an sysCheck guide? OR can someone just explain the "No,Enabled,Enabled,Disabled,Enabled,Disabled, En abled" part of the report? what does each spot in the array represent?
Thanks in advance for all the help everyone
oops...I missed one...here's another IOS that's USB related and not in my report
- IOS 202 (v4): Custom IOS used for USB 2.0 support. Typically installed for use with MPlayer.
Does anyone know what IOS files I might need?
Replying to your earlier question I would have thought if it works in other loaders that the HD is OK for the wii.
If it helps with your IOS questions, USB Loader GX works perfectly on my 4.1E system, I don't have IOS 57 installed, and I don't have IOS 202 installed. I do have 222 and 223 installed (for usb support in second port) but I added these recently they weren't required for USB Loader GX.
Try downloading different versions of USB Loader, you can download them as apps to put on an SD card and load from homebrew, that way you can test them to see if another version works, there seems to be a few buggy versions around.
