I need help please!!!
Ok so a while back i softmodded my wii so that i can play some japanese iso games. now i want to unhack my wii since i love nintendo and i feel like im cheating them. I have IOS250, IOS249 and IOS254 installed. as well as the hbc channel and dvdx. I found a tutorial on how to uninstall all hacks and such but it requires deleting IOS36. I was going to delete it when i saw that super smash bros brawl depends on the IOS.
so my questions are:
Would it be safe to update my wii to ver 4.2U?
or would i have to delete thing first? if so how do i delete everything?
and Will deleting IOS36 prevent me from playing brawl or make me have any memory loss?
and thankyou soo much you guys dont know how much i would appreciate some help :]

You don't have to uninstall your softmods. Just stop being a pirate and ripping off Nintendo and all the game devs, go to Walmart and buy every game you ever stole, then you will go to heaven when you die. You don't need to be a low life, cheap, good for nothing, thief, crock, pirate, etc to enjoy the wonderful benefits of softmodding your wii.
Then again, if you are a pirate, and you sleep well at night, what are you worried about?

install priiloader, block disc updates and you wont have to worry.

But, if you dont block the disc updates then your softmods will get disabled when you do the disc update. Hmm, can't have it both ways, just tell your dad you hacked your Wii.
if im not mistaken, most updates on disc are for the system menu and to take off the homebrew. MOst games you just have to install a correct ios. so using priiloader to block disc updates does help out.
