Never actually used them. They don't sell them in any stores in my area and I get whatever brand is on sale. Never had any issues, but I make certain nothing is running on my pc that is not needed, virus and malware scan often, and rebbot before burning since my pc doesn't have alot of memory.
Wish I could tell ya about that, but I'm one of the guys who thinks it doesn't matter.
Well, im one of the ppl that thinks i really does matter..lol...im using sony dvd-r right now but the verbatims are cheaper and better?, but theres a huge variety i dont know which one
Personally I normally buy Aones (TY's), but have been known to buy cheap supermarket brands with little problems in the past. As for the Discs you've got linked the only ones that appear on Verbatims own site are the Orange pack. The others are either old stock or maybe fakes? Verbs have got a special dye that is supposed to make them superior but I've never used them myself. To help improve compatability of new discs i would advise anyone to log onto imageburn website and there is a section on drive firmware. Locate your drive and check for fw updates.
But, I went to Frys yesterday and the Life Series Verbatims were made in Taiwan, and the orange package ones were made in UAE?
Taiwan between that and the United Arab Emirates (sp?)
PMSL, dunno how i missed them before but have a look at the website.....and choose your weapon.
wait, what do you mean sp?
The ones @ Sam's Club I buy routinely don't say LifePlus... I know it used to be that "subbrand" or type of Verbatim weren't necessarily MCC media codes...
