Homebrew / USB Loader GX
I've been searching for about 30 minutes for the right post to try to help me out and this is the best post i can find, since i'm unable to find a specific, or even general type of answer.
I used this guide to install homebrew channel, loadmii and usb loader gx
I have 2 games downloaded so far: Fire Emblem - Radiant Dawn and Monster Hunters Tri.
Some wii background... i had a somewhat new wii, and i updated it to 4.3, and then realized i wanted to play games, much like my R4DS, so i looked into it, etc etc and followed a guide on youtube and installed everything, it also downgraded my 4.3U wii to 4.1U. I'm using WBFS Manager 3.0 on a 32gig sd card.
Now that i had usb loader gx installed, i selected the channel, selected games, downloaded disc arts. When i select the games and press A to play them, the screen fades black and then the wii goes back to the home channels.
I had read somewhere that 4.1 and higher is unable to accept Rev 14 (i'm still unsure whatever this is), so i looked around for some guides around installing rev 14 to 4.1, or a way to play wii isos off your SD card. No luck D:
When i select a game to play, the screen goes back to the wii home channels. With a downgraded wii 4.3 -> 4.1, i've heard i need Rev 14, but 4.1 isn't compatible. Suggestions?
EDIT: If i wasn't clear enough, i'm looking for a way to play wii isos from an SD card, specifically.
Sorry if this is post is in the wrong area, and if it is, would someone be so kind as to redirect me in the proper place, thanks.
You can just install 1.0.7 on it's own?
After reading 'ghostmachine' experience, I would like to find out if there is any benefit of upgrading.

the kids had changed a setting and i hadnt checked it fully
*awarded new glasses for stupidaty *
i do have another question can you use the sd card as channel if it has HBC on it?
is there any homebrew that will format an sd card? I need to take the wbfs thing off! I don't have a computer with the sd slot!
Do you have a camera that you can put the SD card in and connect to your computer?

Hi, Im a noob.
I have a 1 usb hd connected to wii. setup to work with wiiflow and it does work. setup 2 partition for the hd. 1 8gb fat32 and the rest is ntfs. ntfs partition is set as active. not sure bout primary. i think fat32 partition is primary. i dont insert sd card during play. i install everything homebrew in fat32 partition.
my problem is, when i install app from homebrew browser, it always install it in wii nand memory. i want it to be install in my usb hd. i already set enable Use SD card and disable Use sd card. with both settings, homebrew app is installed in nand.
how can i install homebrew app in hd?
My Wii goes to BootMii first, how do I get it to go straight to the homescreen, or straight to Homebrew?
Rename the folder on your SD card that contains BootMii. Remove the /private folder.
will I still be able to get to bootmii if needed?
