If using a multi-partition drive like stomp - WBFS would be primary and FAT32 would be active.
updated my 4.2e softmod wii with ios58 which was successful but when i went to download wiimc channel it said i had to download ios58 & reinstall homechannel which i don't really want to do!! i came out & tried again but no luck. any help would be appreciated
Just installed it. In my opinion, it is, by far, the best Wii media player to date.
Thank you very much
Yo do not need to uninstall or reinstall bootmii. Just HBC by running the hackmii installer.
Installed IOS 58 wad and HBC 1.0.8. Everything there went well, HBC is using IOS58. I wanted to try out Wiimc and having some problems. Internet access is not enabled because this is for little kids, they don't need it. Downloaded Wiimc Channel Installer 1.5 and went to install in HBC. Once loaded I get a message asking if I want to install the channel, select install and I get exception dsi error. I then try to load wiimc directly in HBC and loads fine but once the cursor hand hovers over the globe icon(online media?) I get the exception dsi error.
I don't want to enable internet access, anyway to fix this?

Edit: Fix here http://www.wiimc.org/forum/viewtopic...5&p=3809#p3809
Seems like a problem with HBC searching for a wifi signal. Let it sit for 10min and then run the installer.
So I went to the Homebrew browser and updated my Wiimc through it and when all was rebooted (not sure if its necessary) I opened Wiimc and it could find my usb.
Hope this helps.
thanks capo i solved my problem a while ago it was my fault because i fucked up formatting my drive:(
For some reason it won't load iso58 it gets stuck on network initalizating? does any one have it without downloading from nus?
you can get it here Latest IOS as WADs, and install it with wadmanager.
make sure you reinstall the hbc as well to have it run on ios58.
