Thanks for your support mauifrog!
I 100% agree with what you posted!
What I really find annoying is that you guys (along with many others) are still relating cIOSCORP v3.x/DARKCORP to thew older v1/v2 versions...
They are not related!
v1/v2 were indeed crap and dangerous, and were made by softmii team. They used old versions of IOS, they didn't change their custim DIP module from shared to non-shared which would have caused compatibility issues, they only updated their version once, and they didn't give any documentation or support to anyone. No wonder so many people bricked with v1/v2.
Even I despise v1/v2 and softmii team!
I managed to figure out how to make my own CORP, all by myself, and I made sure not to repeat the same mistakes they did. as of v3.4, the DIP modules are not shared between IOS. As of v3.6, any unnecessary IOS were removed.
And whenever there's a problem for somebody, I try to fix it. And I support anyone who's having trouble.
Please do NOT associate CORP v3.x/DARKCORP with softmii's crap!
That's seems to be the main reason why people like to bash it.
I have not had a single report ever of anyone bricking due to cIOSCORP v3.x/DARKCORP.
Not a single brick!
One of reasons of the name change was to try to break the association of v3.x/DARKCORP from softmii's versions.
And DARKCORP is even safer then any other version during installation, due to the new installer. After downloading/finding-on-SD the correct files, it then proceeds with installation, one at a time. It will prepare the IOS (patch it) when it says "Creating cIOSxx from IOSxx vyyyy", then install it, then go to the next IOS. During the prepare phase, it's perfectly safe to cut the Wii's power. There's a prepare phase for every IOS, and the full installer installs 25 patched IOS, meaning there's 25 chances for a noob to back out if they so choose. Installing DARKCORP is about as safe as installing a patched sysmenu IOS, or installing preloader/priiloader, or installing any other system-altering mod, except for boot2 modifications, which are even more dangerous.
And then there's the big disclaimer in all caps in the installer, which stays on screen during the entire duration of installation, meaning there should be PLENTY of time for a noob to read it, should they skip the README. And if they refuse to read anything, then it's their own fault. Like mauifrog said, if this happens to be the case, then the idiot "Mr. refuse-to-read" user should be bashed, not the modification.
cIOSCORP v3.x/DARKCORP is a lot cleaner and safer then the horrible v1/v2 that you guys seem accustomed to seeing.
I hope this big long explanation explains everything regarding cIOSCORP v3.x/DARKCORP and encourages more people to use it, without mixing it up with the fear and danger that CORP v1/v2 contained.

I treid fstfix'a audiostream fix feature on my CB: The Wrath of Cortex PAL iso, and tried with both wanin's and Wiigator's cmios, and it didn't change anything...
It appears that there is currently no softmod capable of handling the GC streaming audio and fix it...
